The way some of you people reason is appalling. Do you know the damage done to Iran will take years, if not decades to fix. At some point you expect the oil route to reopen and that is why just happened but the damage done to Iran and their leaders can't be fixed.
This is how some people will reason Ukraine matter with Russia. It will take them generations to build back those infrastructures. The oil routes will be opened it was just matter of time. What did usa really lose so far.Is usa economy going down.

Iran is selling oil freely in the international markets now, hence the regime will be awash with cash after this crisis ends

Iran has faced battle and is now hardened....
USA and Israel will think twice before coming back

And anyone who thinks this regime will not further develop their drone and ballistic missiles capacity after this and further fortify their fortresses in Natanz and Isfahan is joking

No matter how western vassals and misled Christian evangelical complex fellows paint it, this is a strategic failure for both Israel and the USA.

What about the damage done to the USA? The petrodollar concept that has helped the U.S. fund its development for almost 50 years is coming to an end. The dollar-for-crude system has been cracked open. It was already happening gradually, with Russia and China increasingly buying and selling crude in non-dollar currencies, and this Iran war will only accelerate that shift.

Regarding Iranian infrastructure, don’t worry, China and Russia are there. Iran will likely rebuild faster than you expect. It has oil (and therefore money) and powerful allies. At the end of the day, they have kept their uranium and still retain the freedom to pursue their missile capabilities. If there was division before, this war may have helped unify the country.

You should be asking: what has the U.S. actually gained from this campaign?

Netanyahu will likely be dissatisfied, as his objective appears to have been the complete destruction of Iran to secure uncontested power in the Middle East.

If I were Iran, I would quickly restock from China and Russia, especially anti-missile systems and air defenses, because Netanyahu could return with another justification for an attack.
You are one of the people who love to twist narratives to serve your interests, even in the face of obvious truth.

The Iranian regime, since 1979 under Ayatollah Khomeini , declared their ambition to wipe Israel off the surface of the earth. Netanyahu was not the PM of Israel at the time.
Ayotallah Khamanei, since coming to power in 1989, continued the declaration and ambition to destroy Israel. Netanyahu was not the PM of Israel in 1989

You are quiet and silent on the unwarranted, irresponsible and reckless declaration and ambition by the Iranian regime to unleash bloodshed and kill Israelis living in Israel, exterminate them from this world by building nuclear weapons and sponsoring terror allies in Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis etc.
Rather, probably by reason of high-grade anti-Israel mischief, you are now turning around to blame Netanyahu and accuse him of aiming to secure uncontested power in the middle east! How pathetic!

With the direction of your assertions in these matters, I would not be surprised if one day, you blame the leaders of Benue and Plateau and accuse them of fighting the Fulanis because they want to secure uncontested power in the middle belt!

The person you quoted IS RIGHT

USA and Israel have suffered reputational damage on account of this war

Secondly, all those armed groups iran back in the region are resistance groups that sprung up IN RESPPONSE to Israeli aggression and land grabbing

Im glad you even used the benue and plateau situation, because the Israeli are the fulani herders in this scenario.

I wont be a child growing up in the West Bank or Gaza, then a group of Israeli settlers will come chase me out of my land because one. "uzeless god " somewhere promised you the land, and i would not fight back, ko possible

So that was why Iran told its citizens to form human chains as shield around the power plants in order to prevent US and Israel from bombing them to ashes? This, in your thinking, is the action that comes from ''a match in Iran''?
A country that lost virtually all its most important leaders in a space of 1 month? This is the expression and fulfilment of your ''a match in Iran''?
There will always be countries that would behave like Iran because of people like you.

That would be a generational buying opportunity.
I’m not a bank analyst, so forgive my rough math. Assuming Zenith have exited their forbearance as at FY25, the way GT had in FY24. If they have GT’s level of impairment in FY26 and assuming earnings are flat and payout ratio is also flat. You’re looking at an EPS of N39 and a DPS of N15+
I looked at zenith 2025 FS and saw impairment charges of 741B this spurned me to check impairment charges for GTB which turned out to be 66B. So like you said if zenith bank can manage it’s impairment charges it will return a much better result than GTB. The question is can they. The impairment charges for 2024 is about 660B so it has been consistently high. This brings us to the issue of corporate governance that has consistently plagued Zenith bank and is the reason GTB share is always priced above it. Losing more than half of your profits to bad debts is a cause for concern. Is it insider trading, abuse of due process or lack of diligence. To be upfront I have substantial zenith bank share and zero GTB shares

Let’s assume your claims are true, then why? Why would the Ayatollah want to wipe out Israel? You need to calm down and think; I believe that’s far better than regurgitating others’ opinions.

Why would Iran want to destroy the Jews when Jews are also a group within Iran? Or did you not know that? There are Iranian Jews; in fact, one of their synagogues in Tehran was hit and destroyed by an Israeli airstrike a few days ago.

So, why? Learn to think for yourself and filter what you read and hear, it’s a useful skill.

They have been forced to clear it out since Cardoso came in. They have fully exited now as at FY2025. GT had exited all of theirs by 2024 end. Hence the large dividend payment compared to Zeniths in 2024. Expectations is that it’ll moderate significantly this year. My position in Zenith is 2x the size of my GT and I’m even looking to exit some GT to add more to Zenith based on this years expectation.

Impairmeny charges is just another name for the money for the management.

And Zenith Bank just acquired a Kenyan bank and part of the money could also be money used in acquisition of the Kenyan bank.

You are free, with full discretion, to call or describe anybody how you want to. Call Him all the derogatory adjectives you can think of. It is your choice!

All I know is that, there are no historical records anywhere on earth about the Middle east, that are superior or greater in truth, pure fact, authentic evolution than the Bible and Quran.
Thankfully, each side of the divide can relate to at least one of these holy books.
What do these books say about the land in question?
The ruth is the ruth!
I rest my case.

I cannot allow you to come and steal my inheritance and when you are caught, you now tell me that we must share it into two.
Why ask it be shared into two if it truly belongs to you?
Sounds familiar? The King Solomon's parable...

The same Jerusalem that King Solomon ruled over, after his father King David, is not being called some name ''Palestine'', to be shared between some ''people'' and the sons of David!

You are still in the business of mischief! Yes, by making reference to Jews in Iran and telling me to ask myself why Ayatollah wants to destroy Israel.
You want me to ask myself why Iran's Ayatollah would want to wipe out Israel?.
But have you answered the question whether it makes any sense at all or if the Ayatollah should be accorded the luxury to explain or justify why he should declare or aim to wipe off another country from the earth? Is the Ayatollah God?
Should he or his followers and believers be allowed to play God to explain or justify such declaration in the first place? Would you accept any reason he gives as justified or justifiable?

It will also do you some good to see everybody contributing on a discourse as being capable to reasoning and making independent inferences and deductions on issues.
No need grandstanding by asking everyone to read, think, learn, educate themselves etc. at the slightest chance on every matter even when you are clearly off track.
The books, journals, publications, researches etc. that you may be reading now, some might have read them over and over long before you discovered them.

The answer is in their Charter! They want to wipe Israel off the earth because the believe Israel is usurping the land of Muslims, and the whole of Israel does not deserve to exist.
I thought you must have learnt that in your homework.

NOTE: I seek truth, not necessarily logic because logic is not constant and can be manipulative. But the truth is always constant and endures.
You' re apparently being misled and confused by some of the logic that you bring into issues where only the truth counts and matters most.

They are quick to forget October 7th. A terrible massacre that the idiots even wanted to turn out worse for Israel. I wonder what some folks hope to get from supporting a useless terrorist regime that kills even its own citizens at will.

If Israel were a mediocre military that got oppressed, perhaps some of them would be happier, now they decided to stick to their "never again" resolution and their enemies keep falling all around them from Nasrallah to Sinwar to Khamenei.

Yet some folks prefer to be making useless analysis that serve zero purpose and even defy logic atimes.

I asked him a question to understand Michael’s point of view. It’s clear he is repeating things without understanding them. Now, I can explain why there is friction between Iran and Israel, I’ve actually addressed this before.

After World War II, people who identified as Jews, mostly in Germany and other parts of the world, were compensated by the British and the U.S., the war’s victors. Part of that compensation involved establishing a country for them in the Middle East. After that, Israel began to expand, which contributed to the issues we still see today. With the support of the U.S., Israel has, over the years, taken more land from Palestinians and parts of Lebanon.

In the last 20 to 30 years, America has had little choice but to side with Israel due to powerful Israeli lobbying organizations like AIPAC, which to a large extent influence who gets elected.
