Now market updates: Deal counts moderating below the 139k surge we had last week. ChAMS is going through a lot, some of us have liquidity to pick the discount since it's extremely cheap. SEPLAT should cross 10k soon. |

Willie2015:Maybe Tony might hunt for another 5% stake. Cos oil prices alone don't look like they can bring 12k. There's also news about their conversion of most MNPU assets to the new favorable tax regime. I don't know if the conversion has now reached 100%, but they announced a major portion was successfully converted a few months back. That has the biggest impact on earnings. |

Oasisblue:Maybe, May not. But out of respect for others, let's talk SEPLAT. Is it on your radar? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:01pm On Apr 08 |
Willie2015:The problem with your comparison is that Iran is not Borno. This is the same mistake people make in trading, comparing two things that are not equivalent simply because they feel emotionally connected. Nigerians are living in Iran and doing well. Iran, as a whole, is more advanced than Nigeria both educationally and technologically. Iran has existed for thousands of years, you’ve heard of Persia. They had scientific and technological developments long before Britain, which later gave rise to the United States. Even the concept of the “algorithm” used in modern computing comes from a term rooted in ancient Persian scholarship. You are not comparing Borno with a civilization that is over 3,000 years old. I challenge you to research and study. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:03pm On Apr 08 |
Lol, you people should have some respect. It’s like comparing Egypt with Nigeria, when Nigeria is a relatively recent construct, with people whose culture goes back thousands of years. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 6:13pm On Apr 08 |
ositadima1:You're also comparing the Ayatollahs and IRGC to the people of Iran, that's even a worse comparison. The 3000 year old civilization you refer to is of the people of iran. We all love them. this war isn't against them, instead it's against the evil and ideological regime. But guys, please let's continue on this temporary thread instead: https://www.nairaland.com/8650168/us-israel-v-irgc-thread |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:13pm On Apr 08 |
Most of us were in the bush, relying on fruits to survive, while these places had already had cities for thousands of years. Because you’ve managed to get a little education, you feel you can talk anyhow. Just 100 to 200 years ago, most Nigerians were essentially living in rural settings. Now you have the insolence to compare yourself with people who were living in cities long before the British Empire. |

awesomeJ:I am not interested. Let me remain ignorant on this thread. You can go over there and discuss with your geniuses. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 6:20pm On Apr 08 |
ositadima1:Aim is solely to address the derailment concerns raised. This sort of debates hardly yield any results as folks on either sides already have their strongly formed opinions. |

Zichis is looking to mint cash legally. Here is how to play and master the game, avoiding the mistakes of Mr. Chuka, who tried to turn Ellah Lakes into a billion-dollar company overnight. Given the current market sentiment and Zichis's strategic approach, a commercial paper issuance would likely be well-received by investors seeking stable, short-term debt instruments. https://nairametrics.com/2026/04/08/zichis-agro-allied-to-launch-ipo-amid-strong-investor-demand/

Though this one may be from proceeds of corruption. But as an investor, when will you be able to make this kind of statement based on your passive cash flow. That will be the real soft life not really meaningless luxury possessions when you are still not financially independent.

Oasisblue:Which kind Canaanite DNA? Canaanite ko, Jebusite ni! The Palestinians are nothing but Arabs from Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, etc who refused to recognize and live in peace with Israel. Other Arabs that recognized Israel's right are today living in Israel as citizens of Israel with full rights and privileges |
