One stylist once sent me away reason being that my hair was too long and silky for her to work with, my hair was at its natural state and the stylist is an African woman... Personally, I don't like wigs, I've never owned one before, but I understand why some women would prefer wigs over natural hair.

I get your point. But how exactly did African grand mothers maintain their natural hairs. I’m sure before the whites colonised Africa there was nothing like wigs. Is it not better for Gen z African babes to learn how their grand parents who wore no fake hairs maintained their African hairs ?

Now let me shift my attention specifically to Nigerian born women who emigrated to the western nations. There’s a strong cultural and ideological difference between White men and Nigerian women. In Nigeria, women are literally worshipped and deeply cared for by their male counterparts and these women travelled out of Nigeria with that mentality believing that it is the norm everywhere else only to be met with a rude awakening that life is completely different here in the west.
Bills are shared, chores are shared and everyone contributes to the success of the union both financially and emotionally. Now it becomes a psychological burden on them to adjust to the new normal and in an attempt to showcase the entitlement mentality, they are booted of if the relationship.
While grappling with these new realities, they begin the search and conquer process and before you realize it, the same cycle repeat itself again and again.
In Western Europe, it’s no different.
Nigerian men are now wiser. They now realize that they are actually the prize and not the women as they were made to believe.

The Europeans who emigrated to where we now called the United States villified the black race. And they did that for many centuries. Not sure if you’ve been to any slave route enclaves like Alabama/ Mississippi/Louisiana before, you’d realized how much effort the Caucasians had put in to demonize black people. Black men were tortured , hanged, black women raped and brutalized.

Dreadlocks are actually very beautiful. This person looks so beautiful on the dreadlock. I haven’t seen anyone criticise dreadlocks, the few ladies I see on dreadlocks look amazing. No, you don't have better bodies simply because they prefer those with smaller breasts and flatter yansh. Their women have those features, so if they must go outside, those women should have them as well as personal traits. A Japanese/East Asian man who has been used to flat yansh all in his life isn't going to suddenly start liking big yansh or big breasts. Those features could either intimidate or disgust him.

Another thing is economics. In the US, you have more Asian women with White men than Black women with White men. The class feature has it that both went to the same schools, work in the same companies and live in the same neighbourhoods. Naturally, they would pair up. For Asians as a whole group (West, South, Southeast and East), they are not fond of Black people. So, why should their men marry Black women?

p.s. East African women have it better with White men. Or maybe because East African women aren't so high on the big yansh, big breasts rank.

Black people should learn to understand that humans prefer their type, and if they go outside, they look at the economics. Is the Nigerian passport stronger than that of Canada? Does the child have better educational options in Nigeria? How many biracial children birthed by Nigerian men live, study and work in Nigeria as adults compared to their mothers' countries?

One thing I've come to realise is that a huge percentage of people are just 'living', 'floating', 'existing'.

Some churches and professions do... When I was still in varsity, we were told that in our field of work, dreadlocks are not allowed, some students would shave theirs off immediately after graduation... But recently I've been seeing some prominent figures within the same field breaking those boundaries by wearing their dreadlocks proudly and I love it.

Last year there was also a debate on this same forum pertaining this one Nigerian pastor who was ordained and had dreadlocks... It really broke my heart seeing him getting castigated by his fellow Africans and compatriots for wearing his African hair, I mean the dreadlocks were neat and looked good on him... Let's not forget how I also used to get trolled by some nairalanders for wearing my natural hair in one of my profile pictures, apparently I looked broke and hungry.

The first sentence is not even the problem, but the bolded is. Facts are clearly shown, yet people kick against it, deny it and in some cases oppose it. Sometimes, it might be as a result of upbringing where they were brought to believe everything/everyone is good and nice. Where they believe their opinions are always right and should never be challenged.

I am glad many young Nigerians have lived abroad, and unlike yesteryears where information was hoarded or lies were peddled, everything is now bare open. If they cannot read journals to know how far, let them read ordinary netizens' comments. People should learn.

Like I told earlier, I did a lot of research on this subject and I’ve asked you to read three books which clearly Underscores the hard effects of slavery on the black race in the United States and one of which is poverty and family seclusion thru a systemic imprisonment of the black males in the penitentiaries.
Not sure if you read those books bi asked you to.
