grin grin grin grin

Sha give us heads up. make we follow you chop grin

Anyway, with the atmosphere I noticed in the north, I think the only way Tinubu will get re-elected again is if he massively rigged south-west and south-south result. That's the only for him to win the second term.
Even the APC members in the north are not going to vote him because of the hardship. many believe he is only waiting to win the second term and the hardship will double. grin

May God help us sha.

I am starting to believe the person at the top is not really the issue but our collective attitude as a people, and the system in general is the problem.

My bangledash friend told me after they succesfully toppled the last government through protest and riot, there is now insecurity in the country and the new leaders appeared clueless on how to tackle it. on corruption, he said some sectors have improved while others have gotten worse, and the new leaders that took over appeared to be hungry and are looting more than the old government.

I just tire for all the third world countries. seems like a curse.

May God choose the best for us
Because people of third world countries are looking for magic wands instead of realistic economic policies that will create hardship initially because you are correcting for past economic sins but gives you a chance for future economic prosperity. They tend to sanction populist economic policies that appear humane but only create arbitrage opportunities for government cronies and dig you further and further into the ditch.

Tell us the sacrifice the people leading are doing as example. Is this government not living larger than life.Look at the recent Tinubu visit to UK officially. Did you see the kind of jamboree it cost the country with no benefits to the country. Do you know the budget for the city boy nonsense happening right now.Abeg leave all this yeye talk about the people

Did you say this when Jonathan or Buhari was in power? Did Nigeria just become a third world country in 2023?
The same yardstick that was used to assess previous govts is what would be used to assess this govt. Nothing special about any of them, including the current Tinubu govt which is clearly the most clueless and most confused, even though they have had access to more revenue after devaluing ing the naira and removing subsidy. But nothing to show.
You are saying people should sacrifice for a govt that sent 400 delegates to a conference in Dubai?

I do all I can to avoid political talks in public but nobody should bring this thing of the masses making sacrifices whilst the politically corrupt leadership of so called third world countries are living in opulence.

Una mumu never do ni?

Well sha people are making monies from shares that's why some don't know what the commoners are going through... If you live in abroad you will weep for your nation of origin because majority of the political class are callous

I can't believe that Investment-one sent me a sales contract note of ₦388,355.99 today, whereas it was ₦774.759.8 as at yesterday 16/04/2026. See attached. So why selling at ₦388,355 now? I don't understand. angry

Final dividend #4
Interim dividend #2.5

Total dividend #6.5
At current prices, Access offers the stronger cash yield on a simple dividend basis. Stanbic at ₦188 and a dividend of ₦6.55 per share gives a dividend yield of about 3.48%, while Access at ₦29 and a dividend of ₦2.00 per share gives a dividend yield of about 6.90%. That means Access is offering roughly 3.42 percentage points more in dividend yield based on those numbers.

What makes Access even more interesting is the pattern of its dividend payments. In recent years, Access has typically paid a smaller interim dividend and then a much larger final dividend. For example, it paid an interim dividend of ₦0.30 and a final dividend of ₦1.30 for 2023, and an interim dividend of ₦0.45 with a final dividend of ₦2.05 for 2024. So historically, the larger part of shareholder cash return has tended to come at the final dividend stage rather than the interim stage.

The implication is simple. If an investor is buying mainly for income, Access currently looks more attractive on headline dividend yield. Stanbic may still appeal for other reasons such as earnings quality, capital strength, and overall market positioning, but on pure cash yield at these prices, Access is ahead.

You may be amongst the lucky 1%.
There are very many instances where you buy shares through your stockbroker and not only are you exempted from the dividend but will have to go through the rigours and the process of the dividend form especially at the banks.
Wow and here am I thinking it is normal. As a matter of fact, this is how it should be rather than stressing people.

All he/she had was 20k, but somehow the first screenshot posted showed 40k(I believe that's error on the part of the broker.) Which explains why he/she is seeing 774k instead of 397k

Please if you don't mind sharing, which stockbroker do you use and do you have to notify or remind them when dividend is due for payment? What about bonus shares? Do you have to do anything or it's credited automatically?
I have never notified for payment of dividend.

I use Morgan, Atlas and DLM.

I bought CWG for the first time few weeks ago and I got my dividend today.

No wonder that Cameroun is the most developed nation on earth.

Oga Paul is 92 years young and just starting the 8th, six-year tenure that will take him to 98 of age and 50 yrs in office.

As a result, Cameroun has top notch governance, advancement and everything according to the Edueco theory of sit-tight presidency.
