HesInMe:I think people are keying in to the 14% extra bonus (1 for 7) added to dividend yield from the proposed dividend. That's about 17%-20% in total dividend ( for average purchases between ₦100-₦180). QD is also at hand=May 1. So probably rotational investors want to acquire as much as possible to make the 14% extra bonus worthwhile, hence the high demand as the closing window approaches. With this few points of mine hope I have been able to convince you why the 50% rally is holding for now aside the hotel lunching ![]() |

Even if a post isn’t true, it still shouldn’t automatically be labelled attention seeking. Sometimes such milestones simply show what is possible in the stock market and can motivate others to think bigger. Replies like that makes me wonder how some people approached life even from school days; always quick to doubt, dismiss, or mislabel things. That kind of mindset often reflects deep insecurity more than wisdom. People truly think differently, and moments like this makes me appreciate Stoicism: observe first, judge less, and keep learning. |

HesInMe:Sourcing and exporting raw cashew nuts, sasame seeds, hisbiscus, etc. to india, vietnam, turkey and other destinations. Leveraging their export processing center in Lagos and their strong logistics network. This is a whole universe of growth for Nahco and they are taking it very serious. That's all I can say. |

NAHCO: Revenue: ₦53B → ₦65B+, Profit: ₦5.5B → ₦12.8B (2x growth), EPS growth: >100% YoY. Market is pricing explosive short-term growth + aviation rebound. Previously undervalued, the stock is now being repriced rapidly, driven by earnings surge and investor attention Sure, there is a risk of sharp correction If growth slows, but I dont see NAHCO slowing down soon as they are signing fresh contracts with multiple airlines, with oil companies to handle radioactive imports logistics and investing in terminals to facilitate rapid exportation of farm produce. Donald Trump's war in the Middle-East though is a major threat in this Q1 and Q2 as it has affected aviation a lot. HesInMe: |

pluto09:PE does not tell the whole story, if Nahco can maintain a growth of 30% for the next 5 years then a PE of 25 is not bad |

megawealth01:I have taken my over 100% profit from NB long time ago. Moved my loot to Aradel and took another over 100% profit. Now positioning (averaging up) in Tantalizers. ![]() Most of the stocks I invest in are not stock recommendations from this thread but I still value those recommendations dearly for reasons best known to me. |

megawealth01:I bought at sub 40 and exited at 78 sir. I'm not a long-termer like that. If the ROI make sense I sell and look for the next opportunity. If opportunity comes again to re-enter, I buy back. The longest I've held on to a stock is this NAHCO I have. Before now, I bought NAHCO at 73+ ish exited at 117 then re-entered at 93 which I still have. Honestly, holding on to a stock for 3,4,5 years isn't my style. At least not now wey I still young. I sometimes wonder how you do it. (Eg Japaul wey you buy at 20kobo you still hold am till now. As how na?) |

Holding long term gives more money oooo...If you want to build lasting WEALTH learn to buy very cheap gems and HOLD. Still holding Guinness bought at sub 20 Ginalex:Just imagine you have 25m units of UNITY BANK at sub 2 and it gets to 50 naira and paying 4naira dividends? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:48pm On Apr 20 |
I bought it again at around 100, now over 100% up. I want to hold it for the bonus. It’s currently the highest in my portfolio in terms of value. I think it will cross 150 before QD. Sunrisepebble: |

megawealth01:But if everyone is a long termer, who will provide liquidity 🌝🌝 in the market? If you don't get the stock you want at grave r0bber price, shey you'll decide not to trade ni? If I dey look that one, I for no buy NAHCO because the first person I remember that pointed out at 10 naira was currentprice (that was the year I started trading) Before my korokoro eyes, price don enter 3 digits. If I was still waiting to buy it cheap because I missed it at 10, I for no buy am at 73 then 93. Once I see my next big fish, I go sell my NAHCO already at an unrealized gain of 159% and cast my net elsewhere (this thread and my mkpuru experience has taught me not to be emotionally attached to any stock) The plan is to grow my capital in the shortest possible time then do long-term investing later on... But now o, I'm a tradevestor |

Streetinvestor2:Bros, if Tinubu had lost, Obi will never be president. Atiku came second and if Atiku had won, the North would still rule for another 8 years, u are barking up the wrong tree, contest is between the North and south, the east as usual not politically matured will always waste their votes |

emmanuelewumi:Yes, PE doesn't tell the whole story but it actually tells a very important story. NAHCO is a good company no doubt but we are beginning to see price running faster than value. If I may ask, what has been the average PE of the company in the last 5 years? |
