| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 6:57pm On Apr 22 |
True, just ~10% away. If they deliver N24–25+ EPS this year, and the incremental capacity starts feeding into earnings from next year, then maybe N500 becomes the real target. Wapco will be my portfolio's first N1bn position in a single stock ![]() debeey87: |

You shouldn’t have let that affect you. I think the company has always maintained they’d remain listed. Dividend I think it’s from next year to expect a Massive. This year is for capex and expansion. It might remain flat YoY. I hope not sha Streetinvestor2: |

Sunrisepebble:Thr intentions whr never made clear. I believe it was equally what made Emma do his calculations then and sold. Though he reinvested in good stock too.It is obvious the stock will do #500 in few yrs time Imagine one having 30.-50 million dividend from just that stock..lol.That means retirement is coming faster |

Hi everyone, I just came across this thread today—there’s so much information here! 😊 I’ve gone through about 100 pages already and learned that I can start investing using apps like Bamboo. I’m completely new to stock investing, so I’d really appreciate any tips or advice for a beginner before I start buying. What should I watch out for? Any mistakes to avoid? Thank you so much! |

Streetinvestor2:I almost sold but ended up not selling a damn unit. When the buyout prices were tentatively calculated here, and the SP reached close to it, I was tempted to exit, especially when Oga Emma exited too. If they were going to do the proposed MTO at those prices, it was a no-brainer to bail out. I didn't sell because a stock I was planning to buy with the funds that time released a result I didn't like and WAPCO had dropped in price. I decided to wait it out and bail out at any proposed price instead. I was following the court date but it came and gone and I no hear anything. |

Sunrisepebble:To think I sold off all my units when it reached 145, I was even happy I made a killing at over 150% returns. The biggest losers here though is the Holcim, they sold this company at a cheap valuation just before it's acceleration. |

EDUECO:Especially information about brokers to avoid. I don't understand why newbies gravitate to some third party brokers. Perhaps it's because of their mobile friendliness. |
