Na wa ooo!
No wonder the expectation of 900mw power plant in 12 months.
You want Oando at N1,000 so that you can start competing with Dangote?
God dey ooo. Is it good?
Oga Mike

Read my comment well ooooo, there are conditions to that price

Oando has enough assets to achieve that price in the medium term. The challenge is purely Management. If Wale is fairly transparent, and he adequately communicates to the shareholders/ investing public how he intends to achieve those 3 conditions above, and the shareholders/ investing public can see judicious implementation of such plan for a while then the above price is well attainable.

U don’t need to bother yourself with this tribalistic pundit. Even Obi knows that he would not have the balls to grow Nigeria economy to what it is now
50 billion dollars na beans
The massive projects and developments in Nigeria from a county that was almost going to fail and the man turned it around in 3 years
The whole sensible rational world are applauding him but agents of a beer producer are seeing otherwise

I gave tge detailsof the MD recently. Someone here complained. Well let me drop it again. Know it was with his consent.

It is so bad now! After previously sending two mails without any response, I called them on WhatsApp and they instantly rejected the calls 3x without any message. I then messaged them that it wasn’t their fault, that I will do the needful so I won’t ever have to call them again.

And I am currently on track on my promise although i had already moved more than half of my funds from them as at October last year when they increased their fees.

I think Wale and his team went into upstream business (from downstream filling stations) with little or no experience whatsoever in the sector!
Probably the reason they bought Conoco Phillips at an overvalued price, among other issues.
The inexperience is the biggest challenge and undoing.
It could have been different if he had worked in the upstream sector e.g. in a global oil company like Shell, Chevron etc. before acquiring Unipetrol/Oando or if he had gone into partnership with experienced professionals in the upstream sector.

Sunrisepebble:
For FY25 results, the book value per share of Zenith 4,924.206 / 41.07=N119.9 per share
Using Cardinal stone research forecast for 2026 their book value per share is 6,189.5 / 41.07=150.7 per share.
Seems the banks are now trading at 1/1.1x P/B. That gives you a fair value of N166
NFA/DYOR. This is rough maths
That means UBA will do N100 be dat ooooooooooooo Make i hold my thing then

Hmmmmmm

Though what we are presently having looks like a general bull market but i sincerely believe Nigerian banks will/ should reprice particularly after the recapitalization and possibly post the upcoming stress test. it is looking more like an aberration for Nigerian banks to be priced at the present valuation bands. Banks in even some more distress market dont price that ridiculously valuation band
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by funkymedina2: 2:07pm On Apr 23
What is happening to Abbey Mortgage Banks, someone has been dumping 10s of millions daily for like 4 days straight now going below 5.40 tomorrow. Any gist from the grape vine?

Oga Mike stop making excuse for him. the main problem is someone believing he is the smartest person in the room and pure ego. Even if he is not upstream experienced as at then he has considerable experience in midstream which though might not be equivalent to upstream but could still the called upon and networked to get requisite knowledge. So what about after more than 10 years post conoco, has anything been different??
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 2:20pm On Apr 23
It’s possible. I would buy UBA but already heavily exposed to GT and Zenith (35% of my portfolio)
I considered offloading GT to buy more zenith and load UBA because I feel the capital appreciation might be limited but where I else will I find 10% div yield in this market

I also need my dividends and capital appreciation from my shares.
I am only saying the obvious from what I read about how he ventured into oil and gas, but that is not to excuse his responsibility.
Going into a business (with people's money) without the requisite knowledge and experience is even reckless on his part and cannot be forgiven! So no excuses.

However, a single misfortune or wrong move in a highly capital-intensive, risk-laden but lucrative sector like oil and gas, may take several years to recover or even lead to total collapse of a company. e.g. NestOil.
But Wale still has to carry the responsibility to turn things around, very quickly.

Zenith overtaking GTbank is crazy.

Hopefully Access corp delivers....else they would be severely punished by this trigger happy investors.

Remember, Wale cannot deliver himself ooo. So we need some external force, e.g. spiritual cleansing, shareholders aluta, SEC, etc. to deliver him.

FUA from FUGAZ should drop the results so that one will know what he is doing.

I think it's fair to say Morgan's customer relations management system has collapsed. At least judging from my own experience with them currently.

You have to pray to never have a reason to reach out to them because it is been frustrating for me.

Anyone that's been able to teach recently should please share how they did.

Disappointing.

I don’t think that way. Singapore and a few other countries attained their independence after us and are doing well today. The major problem with Nigeria is the I-too-know mentality (over smartness), so no one (group) wants to be the biggest fool for the others. Therefore, all the efforts are just cancelling out one another.

Religious influence is another major bane of the country as the versions (Europeanized Christianity and Islam) that our people practice are targeted to enslave the minds.

We can definitely break free and self-organize ourselves. Hopefully, someday before it’s too late.
We lost our way after the Regional Government constitution was torpedoed. That was the compass that would have guided Nigeria to her greatness
