I’m currently putting together an article on the 'Reality of Life and Relationships' using this image as a case study. Looking at these four couples, they all face the same rain and carry the same bags, but their dynamics are totally different.

OP, I don’t see any happier couple, just different ways they chose to stay dry in the rain and find their way home.. I see cooperation and harmony in all four.

4 I guess, they both went out with different umbrellas but still end up under one umbrella. They are the happiest judging by the picture alone.

Although it sounds funny but you're right oo. I was driving yesterday and I saw a woman with her baby under the rain, I was so sad I wished I could help her. Seriously having a car is very very important especially if you're a family man

All those people up there successfully avoided answering the simple question. Don’t be hypocrites. They obviously all look well to do in the pic and more like a couple that went shopping. Answer the question and stop exposing your life/relationship life traumas 😄

Don't mind him. People that talks like that are empty vessels. I'm certain he doesn't have a car of his own and that's why he thinks corolla os cheap and very affordable for the low income earners

The man is holding the umbrella over her while he gets wet. She is fully covered. He is unbothered by the rain, focused on protecting her.
That is not romance. That is character. A man who shields his woman before himself in discomfort will do the same in life.

Meanwhile, the woman is feminine. She is holding a grocery basket which means she runs errands and takes care of the family. A protective man and a submissive woman is the true representation of a healthy family

That is the happiest couple because she has a man worth keeping and he has a woman worth protecting.

Couple 1 is the happiest. They are selfless by looking out for each other.


No 2,3 and 4. are big NOs

Couple 1 seem the happiest to me.

They are both sharing the load which is a sign of cooperation. Then, the umbrella is placed at the centre where it's covering them both. Also, see how the wife positioned her hand on the husband's, it's affectionate.

Lastly, the smile on their faces is a sign of their endless love towards each other.

But you see couple 3, that man is definitely in that marriage against his will.

How do you define happiness through appearance?
There's no standard for how couples must relate with each other and trying to draw a narrative through that is just silly to say the least.

Definitely 4. They are both flexible each willing to support each other equally and embrace their differences happily.

She has an umbrella which means that she can protect herself from the rain but chose to defer to the man.

The man knows that she is capable but is willing to protect and support her because he is more than capable.

Oh well, each to their own.
