WHAT WILL THE MARKET DO TODAY.TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS COMMENTS
UBA spoilt the mood of the market. Today we still expect the Allshare index to be bearish.

If ACCESS mess up on dividend decision like UBA, it will be a case of adding insult to injury. We may see further drop in the market temporarily!!!

Medium term, we are in a bullish market.

Dealing with the risk in equity investments is the reason why there is a +/-10% limit on daily movement in price.
It is a way to reduce volatility (risk).

Not sure I'll agree with you on this one though

Maybe that is the case cos of the market is relatively illiquid

But in a proper, efficiently run market, with many (informed) participants; those hard caps are inhibitors

The ratio is 2 for every 3 held. The cost is 60naira per share which is wonderful given the current price of Dangsugar on the exchange. The qualification date has already passed (20/04/2026). They are giving the RI at a huge discount which is why I am surprised none is talking about it.

They are doing the RI at N60 while the stock sells at N72 on the floor of the exchange. That is about N12 (20%) discount.

Have they rolled out the process of buying the right issue? Everywhere seems to be quiet about the process.
