With United Capital Margin loan you can get another N10 million, but it is dangerous

With United Capital Asset back loan you can get N5 million

With FSDH Margin loan you can get N5 million.

That is with N10 million cash or acceptable shares or securities worth N10 million
Thanks for your response. Did some quick checks now as well. If I would consider it would reach out

mikeapollo:
Well, personally, I cannot recommend anyone to buy Oando if he/she does not have shock absorbers to hold for long term.
But I see it as money spinner in the long term.
Like play like play Oando don give me close to 100% this year alone on JIJO levels 😂

First Bank turned green 🍏
With more bids than offers....
17M+ bids Vs. 4m+ offers...

One by one, they're turning back from solidarity with UBA...😁
UBA too will soon end the full offer ...
Maybe by tomorrow...

Problem is, the stocks i wanted toi buy GTCO/Aradel/WAPCO have overshot even my wildest dreams for this year so I no come know if the matter worth am because na like $7k i been wan collect.

They are not pension fund administrators abi what is the meaning of PFA

27% and 27.5%, for FSDH Capital and United Capital
They have a pension business. CardinalStone pensions. I'll have to move from what I currently use to theirs. I guess it's a cross selling strategy for them

30% per annum is just 2.5% per month, or 15% in 6 months.

If you know what you doing and you have the right tools you can make more than 503 in 6 months

My strategy is on course.
I have already received close to 2million units from the share redistribution (bonus) alone, which is more than my total principal investment at current price. Now expecting what Wale may decide for the next phase and my next step will follow

News alert:
UAE is leaving OPEC effective May 1. I guess they intend to flood the market with oil (above OPEC quota); I hope OANDO, SEPLAT, ARADEL will be able to compete effectively.

ghm:
Recommendation for the Executive(Presidency) Considerations

I think the Presidency needs to step in, not to break the CBN, but to broker a sensible timeline.

The stock market has been one of the few positive stories of this administration. By asking UBA not to pay dividends, the CBN has triggered a contagious sell‑off across banking stocks. If they do the same to AccessCorp and FBNHoldings, the drop will be massive – and that damages confidence far beyond the banking sector.

We are not saying the CBN should stop regulating. Prudential rules are necessary. But regulation must consider the real‑world impact on the economy and on millions of shareholders.

The current one‑year forced provisioning for legacy FX loans is unnecessarily brutal. Instead of one year, why not use two years to write off those loans? That way:

1. Banks can still pay partial dividends (e.g., 40% of prior year) if they meet quarterly provisioning targets.

2. The CBN still gets a clean banking system by mid‑2026 – just not overnight.

3. The stock market avoids a crash, and the administration keeps its visible success story.

What I am not asking for is a public fight or a crude “calling the CBN to order”. That would harm regulatory independence and scare off foreign investors. Instead, the Presidency should quietly ask the CBN to issue a revised circular – with forward‑looking, clear rules – that allows a 2‑year transition and tiered dividends.

That is the win‑win: the CBN cleans up the books, banks survive, shareholders are not wiped out, and the market rally stays alive.
So the CBN should surrender her independence to the presidency in order to please some shareholders.
The CBN is doing her job, which is primarily to protect depositor funds.
There is a clear guidelines on payment of dividends which is not specific about a particular bank.
I think UBA fell short on the NPL ratio. From the interview granted yesterday it was clear their NPL was above the maximum ratio stipulated in the guidelines for payment of dividends by banks.

You can compare Q1 2026 with Q12025.

I am expecting 25% to 30% growth sha

You dey mind sentimental shareholders.

Investors don run comot from UBA before kasala burst, na shareholders remain

You're right that it matters in the extreme case because of trading liquidity. But not in the cement manufacturers examples Madam gave.

ositadima1:
Because share quantity counts a lot, the fewer the shares, the easier(faster) it is for a stock to move, simply due to the law of demand and supply (or scarcity, or whatever term you choose to give it). I guess, as an investor, you might find it hard to understand.

Look at Airtel Africa as an extreme case: the fair value of Airtel Africa is far above its current share price, but because the free-floating shares are so few, there isn’t enough available to move the price. The same applies if you have too many shares in circulation with too many people holding them, movement will be slower as well.
