mikeapollo:
The RI is technically done with, as the qualifying date was fixed as 13th Feb. Wale and his men would take up any outstanding Rights units.
Institutional investors and directors are the ones to get shares from a successful debt-equity conversion, so those shares would likely not be part of free float in the market
Oga Mike no be everything Oando you must defend. lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

The "dilutive" i am refering to has nothing to do with free - float but its effect on the valuation metric os the shares going forward.

Depending on the closing price whenever they decide to add the RI & PO share, price might drop close to the public offer price (above 10 naira) so it is in their interest if the price is propped higher.
Sunrisepebble:
I think the share price will account for the new shares issued. I’ve not done the calculation. That’s why I’m asking

Could someone please enlighten me on this TIP sef? I know they're into waste management but what is the main driver of value for the company? And has all the easy money been made?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 5:04pm On Apr 29
Didn't really have a target but Aradel has also done wonders on my portfolio this week. Very glad I bit the bullet and bought it as my first NGX stock last year even while it strugged and bounced around the 550 - 500 range for many months.

Mostly oil-associated waste management. They have a few (dangote etc) but highly valuable clients. Also looking to go into municipal waste. Has the easy money been made? I am betting not. As the Oil/Gas industry is expanding on steroids due to specific reforms to increase our oil and gas production TIP is well positioned to eat good for years to come.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 5:11pm On Apr 29
Yup. Not really 'spills' as in accident. They process industrial waste, currently mostly from Oil and Gas by working with refineries.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 5:17pm On Apr 29
Last weekend, CBN released UBA result. We "took it " and now the effect is diluted. This weekend, hopefully we see Access, fidelity etc. CBN will refuse to approve dividend because of insider loans, even when the same CBN was there when the loans were taken and not repair. At the end na shareholders go suffer.
CBN controls the banking sector, nothing Una wants tell me.

I am really getting tired of how you take EVERYTHING PERSONAL! C'mon!
There may be various opinions on an issue. In your case, once someone has a different opinion, you take it personal and start saying the person is DEFENDING! Defending who, for what?
All you needed to say is that you are referring to a different thing, simple.!
Why bring in ''defending''?

If we get to N375 tomorrow I have my first 1bn stock.
It might be tempting to trim some there

This extended time may just turn out to be a blessing. Americans interested in NGX can now trade very early in the morning in the U.S.
