ojeysky:You may be right sir, but I don't agree. Valuations are based on future earnings and prospects. It's a good thing that the books of all the banks are being cleaned up by a strong regulator, the CBN. In my opinion, Wema Bank seems the most organic and is being rewarded more than others. Purely my opinion. Those who understand the game will buy from those who do not. Dare to sell at CP and see if you won't find a buyer. So who is right, the one selling or the one buying? Only the future can answer that question. I didn't say however it won't drop but only in the short term if ever it does because of those selling on this above notion creating a selling pressure. Which by the way is good for those who see prospects and are ready to buy from those who do not. Sometimes, people forget the 100 good things you did but remember and crucify the one thing you didn't do only for the subject to continue on to do good. Apply that to UBA and Access, NB, Nestle, MTN, Guinness, and so many others. Look to the future, it's so bright you may need a sunshade. ![]() |

I hope Access stays on full offer for two to three days, giving me the window to accumulate sufficient units and then let time compound the outcome. My target is a buy entry between ₦22–₦25 and an exit range of ₦45–₦50. I believe the bank presents the strongest opportunity in the sector at the moment. At N22 Naira, I will be more than happy to buy 10M units This is not financial advice. Please do your due diligence. Shalom |

eziokwunwoko:Please note from the Q 1 earnings report statement, that Consolidated Hallmark earnings are not entirely organic as 18.4 billion is ascribed to Net fair value gains. This will have to be deducted to give a fairer position. Also, insurance revenue fell in Q1 2026 compared to Q1 2025. Please ignore the EPS of 184.64 kobo. Without the above, the result should be way south. I hope the above will guide your further action. |

aj8:No sunshade required, we are both saying the result is not bad so i don't think we disagree on that. I am also not saying it is a bad thing that CBN is mandating the banks to clean up, i am saying its not of good faith for access to claim they will pay knowing that CBN will not allow it. UBA didn't make declaration that they will pay dividend so i wasn't too surprised when they didn't. For access however, it was not about whether they will pay, it was how much they will pay. Anyway access remains my biggest holdings in banking sector just annoying how they play the game. It is well. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 7:12pm On May 01 |
I’m hoping it goes on full offer Monday, just like UBA did after announcing no dividend. If we get two straight days of full offer, that would be a dream scenario for me. By the end of the week, I’ll share the volume I was able to scoop and my BE Agbalowomeri: |

Wapco dividend has entered. This 10% wH t is getting larger and beginning to pain me mostly as it is going to this failed government. I wish I could avoid it at this particular time |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Shalom428: 7:49pm On May 01 |
I understand, bro. I don’t have any ties to their management—the money laundering conversation is beyond me. I’m just an investor like you, and my chart shows ₦22–₦25 as the sweet spot for entry. That’s why I planned to go all in. If it goes on full bid Monday, I’ll hold off. For now, I don’t have the bank in my portfolio at all Streetinvestor2: |

ojeysky:I can understand, ojesky. But don't despair. The figures look good from here on. Even if it drops, it will rise again to soar. An interim would definitely be a consolation. Hopefully they would take that route now that the books are clean. |
