There is a very annoying behavior my mother has.

She will send you messages like

Go to block b and collect xx from Sandra

That is it. She will keep mute

You ask her mummy any other thing, she will say NO

Then when you open door and you are 1 foot going out.
SHE WILL STOP YOU AND ADD ANOTHER INFORMATION LIKE TELL SANDRA BLA BLA

Then you stop and listen and say okay

Before you make another step
She will call you back and say 1 more thing

Today she did it this morning
And I changed it for her angry

Which kind nonesense behavior be this??

I told her if you want me to go pick something for you. Tell me all information at once.

Not when I'm going out you start calling me back to tell me additional information.

Immediately I open door and I'm outside

Enters car, start engine

Her: And also drop by the pharmacy to blah blah

You could have told me all this inside the house. Na until I step out you remember all these.

I warned her not to disturb me with that nonesense attitude. If you want to send person on errand be direct. Not giving person half half info

Exactly, I could very well relate. Op's own still better, mine na when I don reach road she will start shouting my name to come back for additional information. And I'm sure it's because Op dey use car if na leg his mum will allow him reach outside get before calling him back for additional info

Your mum is getting older, is not everything she will remember to send you at the beginning. When she sends you on errands, maybe it can trigger other messages, so take it easy with her and understand her current situation.

I concur my friend, children nowadays do not know that in a few years ahead,they too will become mama and baba.It should be a joyful thing to be sent by your parents knowing fully well that you will one day,do same.Biblically,the holy writ says honor your mother and father not answering back.Although, parents are counselled not to get their children offended, where this happened, courtesy demand patience with them.Sometimes,their actions are aged related issues.

Maybe her memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Maybe suggest to her (if she can read and write) to always list what she needs you to get as soon as she recalls them, even before sending for you. So that when you finally arrive she won't be forgetting anything. She can just pen it down as it comes even days or a day ahead.

For those of you shouting that the op was disrespectful, let me tell you this, changing it for someone does not neccesarily means that you have to do it disrespectfully. You can still change it for someone without disrespecting them.

Maybe you all needs to learn how to communicate effectively - no wonder to respond to post you most of you start with insult and close it with insult as well grin
