Remember you're also a marketer who rely on your followers/loyalists to help move some stocks up.....claiming its fundamentals...
After you don cash out, you'll let them know it's no longer meeting your whatever..

I won't tell you about this ZICHIS because I owe you no explanations on it.

For a stock to be on full offer doesn't mean anything in this market, full offer can turn to full bid anytime.....so stop making a mountain out of a molehill.

NASCON was on full offer for weeks if not months at 147, I picked some at that time, the same NASCON is now over 200 in market...
You forgot to mention Totalenergies that our oga marketed here, he Japa and left the full offer for his disciplines, everybody here na hustler grin grin grin

Exactly that is why I see people rushing to buy now as missing the expected price dip after listing. But they should be fine if holding for long term

More so as most investors of TIP PO has made over 3x already
Was the profit realised or just paper profit. Just wait when the offers are listed you go understand better.

Did he inform the house when he sold and why he sold.

With the coming on board of Dangote Refinery and the thinning margins of companies in the Petroleum products marketing sector it will be foolish for anybody to hold on to stocks in the sector

If you have been wise, you will understand that he leaves when the fundamentals change or when the stock becomes extremely over valued.
And the person who called out total initially was not him.It was our bedspread guy.It is great wisdom to know when to leave the stage in this business. You can look for another propaganda like apc government on someone doubling/tripling his investment as he moves to better opportunities. I wished I did that in same sugar of today and total oil that I am now trapped after things began to change in thr quater results. Bro next time try and do better for this team/support work..lol. I have learnt from him never to have emotional attachments to any stock
If fundamental are turning bad quarterly progressively .You japa. This has saved him from falling into failed and delisted companies like many of us did.
You can come back when things change instead of staying thr to miss opportunity cost

The thinking that some people have exclusive call on stocks on this forum is dangerous for those who outsource their analyses.
No one was more against OANDO on this forum more than a particular elder on this forum. Any gains on the stock's share is always a trigger for viperous outbursts everytime. I even thought that he must have lost a great deal trading the stock. However, by his own admission, he never owns a single unit of the stock!!!!

What then was his grievance about?

Perhaps there is a new phenomenon that we can refer to as 'Anger of Missing Out' (AMO). The 'experts' think that if they did not see a new high potential stock in the horizon, then it should not appear. It should die before it grows.

No stocks suffer this bitter venom spitting more than Ellah, Oando and Zichis... in the hands of this 'elder stockman'.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Cation(m): 10:35pm On May 14
Let me pretend like I don't know the oga he is referring to but the oga gave clear clues which someone like me followed after doing my due diligence and sold with 300% profit. In fact he told some of his disciples when he sold and kept on saying he doesn't think anyone should be in the downstream sector considering the situation.

I don't bother reading the mentions of some monikers. If I did I will be forced to reply and we will continue with an endless back and forth argument because me sef no dey gree

My write up on Zichis started from a WhatsApp group and I decided to share here.

Someone said people should be careful of Zichis based on the fact that the CEO sold, another person now countered him and said after all one of the directors of NAHCO sold 350k.

That was when I started looking at the earnings, growth, efficiency and valuation of both companies.

I have never bothered to look at the books of Zichis for once, if I did I would have shared my findings.

The back and forth arguments between the guy and myself was what made me to dig deeper to discover the unreasonable premium valuation given to Zichis.

By the way the guy arguing with me is a chartered accountant, management accountant etc and I am just a stock market investor.

The guy no gree, me sef no gree. But the people believe the figures I presented and probably knew I was making sense.

Other players in the agriculture sector also added their contribution to the discussion.

The next day, quite a number of them tried to exit the stock .

If not for that guy that tried to tackle me, it is possible Zichis might have reached N50

It is intellectual laziness for anyone to outsource their analyses to others, we should always counter the man's analysis with facts and figures, we can't counter it with emotions, hope and faith.

Person holding korofo (empty can) knows, he is only looking for a greater fool that will buy it from him at a higher price.

Stock price manipulation can last for 4 weeks and above of the shareholders are greedy or they are not intelligent investors.

Stock price manipulators detest knowledge, market intelligence, valuation and independent indept stock analysis

The nation is governed by laws, rules and regulations; not by the sole antics, whims and caprices of a president! The president cannot be wiser than the constitution and laws by which the country is governed
Where in the constitution or any law is the president granted powers to do such without concurrence or approval by national assembly?
He is a constitutional president, not a king!

And you are grandstanding saying ''we'' should ''think deeply'' before making comments. In other words, the person whose post you quoted (i.e. myself) probably did not ''think deeply'' before making those comments. Clever you!

Now, it is your turn to ''think deeply'' before commenting and tell us if the action of the president is lawful, or even promotes accountability and transparency.
Have you heard about Executive Order before? The President do have some exclusive powers in democracy.

I feel there are so many things in Nigeria that are so twisted. e.g. expecting those who are benefitting from the flamboyant cost of governance and corruption to be the ones to implement policies that will remove it.

With all due respect I say this:
Make your numbers and points clear and FULLSTOP.
However there is a level of hostility and speaking less of a stock. The Bigger picture here is that you see funds leaving this stock and moving into other stocks of interest. It’s like saying all roads in Nigeria are bad and taking flight is safe. I haven’t told anyone not to go by road neither I’ve I said people should go by flight but the effect will be that more people will go by flight.
I’m not invested in Zichis or Oando or likes and I’ve learnt great lessons from people here.
My point is that… let’s make our analysis and keep the numbers clear. Let’s put in our energies into clearer picture and let people decide.
In this market.. the money you lose is gained by someone and viceversa.

Just my opinion

Dangote Cement was on full offer for over a month last year. Was it because the fundamentals were bad? I guess you already know the answer. But when the time came, the offers dried up, and everybody turned back into investors instead of traders. This is just the market cycle, and it is this cycle that determines who is an investor and who is a trader

Dangote cement was over valued at N400+ last year? But people are buying it this year at N1100+ as undervalued assets and they are happy.Projecting the next junction to be N2000. Was he hyping the stock when he bailed out in the face of deteriorating fundamentals and the bleak future for the sector.

Because I remember when he said he sold 50% of his holdings, with a plan to sell the remaining if the fundamentals did not improve.

Did you see the earning growth between last year and now.

Did you consider the massive investment by the government in infrastructure and that will continue for another 5 years and above.

Did you consider the planned listing on London Stock Exchange.

With the listing on London Stock Exchange, Dangote will be valued based on how regional multinational corporations are valued in the frontier market.

Did you also consider that Naira denominated assets are being revalued

Chatgpt believes Dangote Cement should be valued at between N2000 and N3000 based on this. Time will tell
