It will take Zichis 15 years to logically attain a price of N42, assuming Zichis can maintain a compounded annualized earning growth of 20% for the next 15 years and a PE of 10.

This is based on organic growth
Imagine paying 2041 price in 2026.

That is why we have stocks that have been stagnant as per price for over a decade. Some are evenly sell below the price they sold in 2016

Abeg, forget that hype!
The insurance sector in Nigeria is still fragile.
No one expected the industry to go down so low after the financial sector recapitalization in 2004/2006
True but with this current recapitalization,I doubt it honestly.

Oga Emma please I dey gbadun your analysis. Please some of us appreciate and recognise even though some think otherwise.
Dont stop sharing sir.

Price Book Value ratio of 71 is abnormal for an average stock.

Investors will lose money buying an over priced stock

UPDC REIT was listed at N10 in 2013, yours truly bought at between N1.80k and N3.00 few years ago, it was this week that UPDC REIT touched N10. It happened 13 years after it was listed

SFS REIT was listed at N100 in 2008, 13 years after patient investors bought the shares at N60 in 2021.

It is very important not to over pay for an investment, that is why valuation is important after making adjustments for earning growth

The bonus has been credited. You can only see it in your cscs account if you have one.

I am taking up my rights too but I dont know if its out.

With the bonus issue they scaled the recapitalization requirements.

sterlingD:
Is their right issue out meanwhile the bonus shares declared last year no news about it

I don't bother reading the mentions of some monikers. If I did I will be forced to reply and we will continue with an endless back and forth argument because me sef no dey gree.

The guy no gree, me sef no gree. But the people believe the figures I presented and probably knew I was making sense.

The next day, quite a number of them tried to exit the stock.

If not for that guy that tried to tackle me, it is possible Zichis might have reached N50
Where's the guy making long speech that it's not Oga Emma that caused the problem?
Hope you can read the bolded by yourself....Afromentalist or so..

Let's see how far you can continue to use "I no go gree" and stubbornness to destroy anything you don't stamp or agree to.
There's no amount of conviction anyone can give that you'll still agree....na you be government yourself.

Like OANDO, the stock will still end up shaming you.

Do you know what it means to sustain a growth of 20% for 15 years, although I was referring to organic growth.

With smart and responsible use of leverage it is possible in 10 years

Check out the price of some of the insurance stocks in 2007 or the Oando shares we bought for about N100 at that time.

Consider time value of money, inflation and currency devaluation from 2007 to date
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by tayejay(m): 9:28am On May 15
Even sooner than that. People buy existing assets that eventually become extremely successful within a short time and in addition to other patronages including privileges from those with decision or veto authorities (e.g. presidency). In Nigeria great wonders happen overnight... people like you have probably become billionaires due to these wonders..

To be honest, you have to differentiate the reasons for entering a stock. It could be for investing, in which case fundamentals are key; for trading, where technical analysis is more important; or for gambling/speculation, where whoever is putting in money should apply much stricter risk management.

The problem with Oga Ema is that he seems to think investing and fundamentals are the only ways to make money and doesn’t want to acknowledge that people also profit from the other two approaches.

You also have an issue, you don’t seem to clearly distinguish between these three categories. Three days ago, when you were promoting Zichi, you presented it as a value play, which apparently it is not. Some beginners may follow that narrative and get burned. At those prices, Zichi is a high-risk speculative play.

Na my opinion ooo.

The probability of that happening is 1% or less.

Out of over 200 million Nigerians, I don't think 2 million Nigerians running their businesses have that connection or access to such privileges.

Investing based on emotion, faith,.hope and unmerited favour hardly happens to the majority

Yes, I agree. Organic growth alone..

That's why I am looking at the fruiting/harvest of their proposed palm produce within 7-9yrs if started early.
The growth rate will be more exponential at this stage.

The PE will definitely be re-rated higher at this stage by investors given the doings of the kings in the sector.

Did you see the earning growth between last year and now.

Did you consider the massive investment by the government in infrastructure and that will continue for another 5 years and above.

Did you consider the planned listing on London Stock Exchange.

With the listing on London Stock Exchange, Dangote will be valued based on how regional multinational corporations are valued in the frontier market.

Did you also consider that Naira denominated assets are being revalued

Chatgpt believes Dangote Cement should be valued at between N2000 and N3000 based on this. Time will tell
I recall how you talked down on CCNN plc from circa N4+ to N17 thereabout and you made some people to miss the merger.Even after the merger, you kept demarketing it and most people didn't go close to Bua cement, you kept on promoting your Wapco based on fundamentals and how it would be second to Dangote Cement. I believe you are still marketing your Dangote and I believe it will get to the price you quoted based on sentiments.

Don’t worry, they’ll pump it again. The dumping can continue down to ₦5–₦15, and then they’ll start pushing it back up. Till today, different versions of MMM-style schemes are still running.

It’s when you don’t understand why you’re entering a trade that you end up getting trapped. undecided

We are under rating what it means to have a compounded annualized growth rate of 20% for 15 years.

If a landlord increases the rent of a room of N1 million per annum by 20% every year for 15 years. The tenant will end up paying N15.4 million in the 15th year.

You also assume that competitors won't get market share from the current fringe players in the agricultural sector

Thanks for this reminder.

I can't forget how 2 or 3 of us were shouting that time too.....
That this is a golden opportunity but he won't allow his sheep buy into it.
Till the last day of suspension of CCNN, it was on full offer @N18+ with none of them buying.

The same CCNN is now the BUACEMENT!!
The average price of the registrar's unit I have is around N13.
Shebi they're now comfortable pursuing it @350/400.... tongue

Funniest thing is that he will have it o, but will let them know the reasons they shouldn't buy.

My issue with him is that he's not always open to another person's view no matter how you try to justify it...
Thinking it's only fundamentals that works in the market, even at this present age.

I don rest my case.....

He should know it's not only ZICHIS I have...
Will average down at the right time....
Could be a blessing in disguise self....so continue.
