ChatGPT analysing Dangote refinery prospects in 2027 If Dangote Refinery eventually lists on the stock exchange and achieves: * ~$3–5 billion annual profit after tax, it could instantly become: * one of Africa’s largest listed companies by earnings. For perspective: * that would rival or exceed many major African banks, * telecom firms, * and industrial conglomerates. The refinery makes money because: * petrol, * diesel, * jet fuel, * LPG, * polypropylene, * and other products combined are usually worth more than the crude oil barrel used to produce them. Then add: * logistics, * storage, * trading gains, * export arbitrage. |

ogawisdom:Personally, I don’t believe Dangote Refinery is accurately priced right now. But one thing I strongly believe in is averaging, whether the price goes up or down. I remember when I exited Oando at ₦90 and bought back at ₦78. People like street were insulting me then, but the difference between me and them is simple. I don’t put all my eggs in one basket. For example, if you have ₦10 million, I would not advise putting everything in at once. I would put 25% now, then continue to average up or down on a monthly basis depending on how the market moves. That was exactly what I did with Oando. And look at me now.

So what if the price doesn't come down in the next three years, to what gain is the price averaging? You will be paying more eventually. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 7:57am On May 25 |
Agbalowomeri:Nobody has said this anywhere, and the prospectus is not public. It is impossible for something they are marketing so heavily to have such a price cap. Price cap is for when you’re sure you will oversubscribe your insane N7t offer. |

Thinking aloud. Does it mean companies like Dangote refinery will not have comprehensive insurance cover going by its valuation. Looking at the valuation of nigeria insurance companies that means none can render insurance services to Dangote Refinery even with the associated high risk God forbid in the event of serious fire out break at the refinery. What happens based on insurance to such refinery |

E go get nah. It doesn’t have to be a Nigerian company. Those same insurers in London who insure container ships and massive infrastructure and such go dey among. I guess many insurance companies covering specific areas of the complex. Streetinvestor2: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 8:37am On May 25 |
deathwing:If you think so.Then why are Nigerian insurance companies not showing benefit from that refinery in thr books. Look at the q1 2026 for insurance companies. They are annoying beside very few |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 9:01am On May 25 |
Streetinvestor2:I said it doesn’t have to be Nigerian. It will most likely be international since it’s a first of its kind. How many Nigerian insurance companies will even understand what they are insuring? The complex is also located in a FTZ. It’s technically outside Nigeria. I wager they are insured by the insurance companies that insure other insurance companies (re-insurers). |

Streetinvestor2:You have just accidentally stumbled accross what could be the real potential gem in this refinery. Can Nigerian assets be insured by foreign entities? If no, which insurance companies are working with the refinery? Those might just be the smart plays here. The refinery is in a free trade zone, does this allow them to be insured by foreign entities? |

WHAT WILL THE MARKET DO TODAY. TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS EARLY MORNING COMMENT The market may continue to consolidate. We may see some sporadic movements at month ends and beginning of the month as pension flows enter the market. The FPIs are key to price movements. They assisted the market in the early part of the bullish move we are experiencing. Now they are not very active we are seeing consolidation!!! Let us see how far the locals will push the market!!!
