Hehehehe this market sha... At 18 people were waiting for the PO allocation for sell off to jump in. It rose to 30. Still waiting for the allocation. It might get to 40 then the allocation comes and it drops to 30 and stays there tlll quarter 2 results to shoot again. In real terms above 60 percent has been lost if you now enter at 30 after sell off rather than the 18 to 20 it was.

Well everyone has their strategy.
How far 😁😁

I am presently at the UBA 2026 AGM and shareholders are just falling over themselves singing praising of Tony Elumelu, instead of asking critical questions.

It might interest you to know that the people praise singing must have been waiting for the AGM for something to sing about albeit as their token of the PR

If you know, you know.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 10:44am On May 25
Oh grin grin...it will definitely go below 30. I implied it most likely won't go below 19 you are waiting for because it was stuck there for months (that was when you should have bought because na there me sef buy)

Check well and you will be surprised those are the kind of people who support this failed government

Anything as avenue to castigate the government is welcome development on my side even if the talk is about stocks..lol
Agba said we left politics to charlatans for too long so I decided to join

Thr case will be far better than Zichis because they have numbers to defend the SP and easier to generate new revenue that can absolve the new OS.That said it may touch #20 before the new revenue begins to impact on the new OS.It is common occurrence after increased OS for companies. Look at chams, ubcap etc

Oil has dropped by $13 since Friday when Trump started talking about imminent peace deal. Will this affect Nigerian oil company prices on the NGX?

Has that war really impacted them since it started? Oil prices have skyrocketed a few times, yet most of the oil stocks on the NGX remained unaffected.

By the way, it seems like Trump won't be getting the Iranians to surrender their highly enriched uranium.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:20am On May 25
This is probably one of the shortest AGM of UBA smiley
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 11:20am On May 25
I think Seplat had more than a month of downtime on one of their pipelines o something, so the oil price increase (as well as their strengthening gas business) kind of cushioned and prevented what would have been a loss.
