Lol. He doesn't know the history of Persians.

NSEstudent:
Has that war really impacted them since it started? Oil prices have skyrocketed a few times, yet most of the oil stocks on the NGX remained unaffected.

By the way, it seems like Trump won't be getting the Iranians to surrender their highly enriched uranium.

One of the surest ways to lose your money is to buy a stock based on a recommendation without understanding why it was recommended and more importantly agreeing with the rationale behind the recommendation.

I understand why Loco recommends Japaul but I do not agree with him. I have also understood why my friends were buying bitcoin at $800 and I also did not agree with them.

I do not think Loco is fraudulent, I think he is just wrong or not seeing the bigger picture. Obviously I too could be wrong as I was with my friends and bitcoin.

Anyway I have rotated out of Transcorp and picked up more Access bank at N24.95.

I think Seplat had more than a month of downtime on one of their pipelines o something, so the oil price increase (as well as their strengthening gas business) kind of cushioned and prevented what would have been a loss.
Not just Seplat but even the Renaissance group because the line that was affected was the Forcados (a major pipeline). However, it has been functional since April and we would definitely see a massive rise in Revenue for Seplat and Aradel in Q2 2026.

I am presently at the UBA 2026 AGM and shareholders are just falling over themselves singing praising of Tony Elumelu, instead of asking critical questions.

Is this your first time in an AGM?

The two metrics have existed as long as that scam alert has been operational. So it is not new...lol
The value it creates is never for shellholders

My brother I work hard for my money so I dey shine my eye before releasing kobo. Loco's enthusiasm is almost infectious but the numbers behind that company stink to high heavens. I don look the thing up down left right and I just cant find a rational reason to put my money inside.

Even if they start producing gold the kind of EPS growth they will need to make the stock good is astronomical. And given the insecurity in the country I don't even see the gold production being smooth. Even if they somehow achieve smooth gold production the management has a bad history, history I witnessed first hand as a market participant.

Anyhow make una carry go. I will gladly miss the japaul boat
