This thread is too slow and almost dead.
There are hardly any responses.

Perhaps we should consider a telegram account.

I am in a telegram group for incumbent, graduates and aspiring students for Germany, and discussions and information are flowing very freely. you'd ask a question and get at least five different responses to it a couple of hours.

For those looking to come here. I'll suggest you apply to a school in German where it is much cheaper. Learn German as you study and apply for a job in Switzerland (they have the highest salary in Europe i think). Studying in Switzerland is not cheap, neither is the cost of living. It's almost 3times the cost in Germany. Also, the German is Swiss German, plus they rarely entertain English since they have 4 official languages.
you wan use German resident permit to apply for Job in Switzerland? Lol

Just here to invite anyone looking to the church I attend in Zurich, RCCG Sanctuary of praise at Fallanden. They made our transition to Switzerland seem less. Run by a very lovely couple. Kindly fellowship with us every Sunday, 11.30pm -1.30pm

Thanks a lot dear.

To be honest with you, I had explored the option of opening with a bank affiliated with a finma approved bank once. However, when i contacted one of the UZH student service representative about the issue, she specifically told me that it just wasn't enough to open with a bank affiliated, it had to be on the finma list.

Right now I'm out of options. And running out of time too. My best bet in this situation is to follow your advice on GTB and provide the immigrations office with proof of gtb financial statement (It's not like there's any other thing I can do) then hope for the best.

Thanks once more, really appreciate @santino1
Hello, I really don’t know how this works but I hope you do get this text… I would like to know how you navigated this FINMA License bank issue

Within 24 hours, though mine took just 3 hours and I got email with a date to come to the embassy.

But recently my friends appointment took 34 hours before response

Thank you for this, what i mean to ask is, if i apply today, what date am i likely to get to appear at the embassy? Next week , 2 weeks , few days? I Heard it is the embassy that gives a definite date for the applicant?

Also, asides my admission and passport, is there any other documents to be sent in the email that i would be sending to the embassy to ask for date?

Mine was two weeks from the day of I booked appointment to appear at the embassy.

For documents to come with, the embassy will send you the exact documents list to bring along to the embassy. So just calm down. But u you just have to act fast if you're resuming in September

Thank you Boss. I was actually talking about the documents to send along the initial email I’ll be sending to the embassy to book appointments, not the ones I’ll be going to the embassy with. Thank you for your help once again. How was your appearance at the embassy in Abuja?

Hello Everyone,
I would like to confirm, at what point does one pays the 150,000 visa fee? And why is it stated that “study visa is free” on the email sent by the embassy when i tried picking a date?
Re: Students In Switzerland/ Nigerians Living In Switzerland, your Experiences Here! by ifemaco: 7:17am On Jun 25
Please does anyone know what one should expect during the interview itself? Like questions asked and if there are any special requirements to be aware of?
Also, does anyone have a template for the Written Commitment to leave Switzerland after studies and Written Statement with Student’s Intention at the End of the Studies documentation? Would really appreciate.

Lastly, does anyone have experience on how long canton Neuchátel takes to give their decision after ones documents have been forwarded to them after the interview.
