Add PDP's vote to that of APC in 2023. That should give you an idea. It's not just the Okowa group now, it's the fusion of both structure. As at today, APC is the only existing political party in Delta state. Ned and Omo-Agege are irrelevant noisemakers.
The APC structure today was the PDP structure that failed to deliver an incumbent Okowa as Vice presidential candidate. It can even be argued that APC is even weaker than it was in 2023 with the ouster of Omo-Agege and other silently aggrieved members like Ned Nwoko. 2027 will be worse.

APC won the senate seat in his constituency. Sen. Dafione is the imcumbent. He won under APC while Omo Agege was vying for the governorship. The same Sen. Dafione defeated Omo Agege in this year's primaries.

Omo Agege is a big name o. But I will still remember him as the mace thief.
. Ovie omo agege personally made that election easy for Ede to win. Without Omo agege, nobody knew Ede let alone recognized him. Someone who doesn't even understand his dialect.

Well, I'm happy Omo agege has finally gotten the courage to leave the party for Dem Sheriff and okowa since Tinubu seems to trust those duo more than the people who were in the party before they joined.

Life has a way of humiliating the proud, especially when they think they've got it all organized, like that they have the world in their pocket. This reminds me of El Rufai who helped rig Tinubu in. Who would have told El Rufai that he would end up in detention under Tinubu he bought and sold for?
You see why supporting evil for self-interest is bad? Like El Rufai like Omo Agege/ Many more to crash...soon
Akpamgbo sorry Akpabio will be next come 2027.

He's part of the current problems challenging us. Omo Agege was a member of Buhari's inner cabinet that fuxcked up Nigeria. History will not be kind to him. The evil that men do lives after them. His political career is dead.

SDP to AD to AC to ACN to APC
Tinubu did not only act this way, he betrayed the party owners( the afenifere) who gave him that platform to run as governor after several pleas,by abandoning the AD completely and registering the AC so the afenifere would stop monitoring his corrupt practices. There was no single crisis in the AD that could have warranted such move

Omo-Agege’s Move from APC to NDC Is a Political Mistake and Miscalculation

He is decamping because Abuja connections failed

I’m not surprised, but I am disappointed.

I just saw the news of Former DSP Omo-Agege resignation from the APC. To be honest, I saw it coming.

He wasn’t happy when Governor Sheriff Oborevwori moved into the APC.

He became scared because of the value and impact Oborevwori brought to the party.

He knew he had no path to the governorship, which is why he settled for Delta Central Senate — knowing fully well he couldn’t win, since the people of Delta Central have seen the achievements of Sen. Ede Dafinone.

He boycotted the APC congress and primaries, disrespected the Governor, and hasn’t attended APC meetings since the Governor joined the party.

When he lost the primaries, he moved to Abuja working on his connections to turn the result but unfortunately, he connections failed and that is why he is moving to NDC.

I’m disappointed that Omo-Agege is moving from APC to NDC.

This will be one of his biggest political mistakes.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s achievements are enough to give APC candidates a strong advantage in the 2027 general elections.

In fact, if Sen. Ede Dafinone contests against Omo-Age in 2027, he can relax.

The 2023 governorship election, APC congress, and APC primaries already showed that Omo-Agege has lost touch with reality.

I know he’s hoping to ride on a “Peter Obi wave” and thinks it can carry him to victory since the elections are on the same day.

But this is 2027, not 2023. The political opportunities that worked then won’t play out the same way now.
Omo-Agege will be disappointed at the end of the day.

I also hear that Ned Nwoko is moving to NDC.
None of them pose a threat to APC in Delta State.
In fact, they’re welcome to the contest.

I know they’ll be disappointed — because I’m already disappointed in their decision.

Ossai ovie success ✍🏼

Ned was not in APC in 2023. He won because OKowa supported him. He's still in APC despite Okowa collecting the ticket from him. The APC structure of 2023 remains intact and fully integrated with the Okowa group. Even Ibori is solidly behind Delta APC. The only minus from the two groups is Omo-Agege. And for someone who lost to Senator Dafinone, it shows how weak he has become. He can go to hell, we have Delta in the bag already.

Omo agege took this decision rather too late, this is what he should have done immediately he lost the governorship election to sheriff oborevwori.

He made a wrong political calculation by contesting with Oborevwori instead returning back to the Senate

He has since been dining with his political enemies, I think much damage has been done to his political career

His political career has been damaged by his advisers.

Don’t blame Peter Obi.. He is very wise than you think
If Obi is truly a wise person, then why was it so easy for his own protégé Obiano to kick him out of APGA in 2014, five years before Atiku redeemed him to be his VP candidate?

If Obi is truly a wise man, then why did Utomi deceive him in 2023, like Kwankwaso is doing now?

Unreliable, untrustworthy, unprincipled, party-hopping Utomi was incidentally the first presidential candidate of ADC.

lexylaw40:
The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, on Wednesday stated that the “President-elect” Bola Tinubu asked popular economist, Prof Pat Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

Akinwale made this revelation while he appeared as a guest on a radio programme on 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, while alleging that Obi received campaign funds from Utomi, whom he described as Tinubu's "son."

The LP aspirant, who spoke in Yoruba language, said "In the buildup to the 2023 elections, Obi who had purchased the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suddenly announced his exit from the party.

"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.

SDP to AD to AC to ACN to APC
School is not a scam. There is difference between name changing, merging, and porting.
SDP and NRC were the only parties then so he was in SDP ( I'm sure u heard the story) After Abdulsalam was going to hand over to civilians AD came up and lost the Presidential election, it was more of a regional party so they changed the party name from to AC then ACN and finally became a national party when they merged with CPC and part of ANPP to form APC.... unlike Obi, who ported, jumped from party to paApgafrom Apga to pdp to LP to ADc now NDC.

Hope you get the twist now.
