Streetinvestor2:He was France Secretary of State. His philosophy was an imperialist one. He was only interested in the conquest of nations and expansion of his national territory. He was never interested in the greatest happiness of the greatest number of people like Jeremy Bentine. Abeg, make we no derail the thread Dividend is Fake. Why are we running after dividend paying companies who will just slice the dividend amount from our stocks' Share prices to pay us? Why can't you buy a highly bullish stock, sell a percentage of it and pay yourself your desired dividend? DIVIDEND IS FAKE. No wonder you would buy a stock on the qualification date and still get paid the whole dividend.... Simply because the so called dividend will be deducted from your paper profit and sent into your Bank Account. No be so? Dividends na fake |

Streetinvestor2:Good submission. I agree with most of it. So why aren't we lucky enough to have such a person in those positions for real change? Are good people avoiding these roles? If so, why? As things stand, politicians have hijacked everything – I don't see an honourable one among them. I gave up when I saw the Labour Party decimated and laden with financial issues after the last election. Someone visited Dangote Refinery and wondered: why not let Dangote run the country? Another visited Canaan Land and asked why Ogun State can't be given to Bishop Oyedepo. Someone else went to Shell camp and questioned why Shell shouldn't just run Nigeria. But your write-up would have been more mature without the line: "It could equally mean you are among the bad Nigerians too." You're a grown adult – please learn to be civil. |

Guys, this one was telegraphed weeks ago and the market is delivering...and yet another oppoutinity to catch this shown in bettom left chart (NEIMETH as a long setup back when price was consolidating around the ₦7.5–₦8.1 zone. The Elliott Wave structure was screaming — a classic corrective ABC pattern completing wave (c) into the demand zone, setting up for an impulsive move higher. The setup: Entry zone: ₦7.5 – ₦8.7 (averaged in at ₦8.1) Stop Loss: ₦6.5 Bias: Bullish (Long) Current status — targets being hit: ✅ ₦9.8 (+20.99%) — done ✅ ₦10.335 (+27.59%) — done ✅ ₦10.87 (+34.20%) — done 🎯 ₦11.4, ₦11.935, ₦12.47, ₦13.0 — still in play The 1-hour chart showed a falling wedge within the larger corrective structure, with wave (5) completing around the 7.5 area. The projected extension targets using Fibonacci — 61.8x wave 1 giving ~₦8.7 (already blown past) and 100x giving ₦8.4 — have been exceeded, confirming the impulsive character of the move. This is Elliott Wave analysis working in real time on the Nigerian Exchange. Not guesswork — structure, targets, and levels all defined in advance. When the wave count aligns with the demand zone, you load up and let the market do its thing.

nosa2:It looks like a joke, but Nigeria is rapidly heading down the path of Afghanistan. I believe that when these terrorists, bandits, and herdsmen (whatever name they are given) have spread their tentacles to every corner of the country, the people behind them will begin to show their faces. They will start dictating and making demands openly, no longer from the shadows but for all to see, and then fight to completely take over Nigeria’s government. |

narite:I don't buy this narrative of a central group. We made the mistake of paying billions for the Chibok girls. Once that happened where we are today was inevitable. Once desperately poor and jobless youths realized that kidnapping paid so handsomely and relatively risk free it was only a matter of time before it became wide spread. Once it became widespread, it was inevitable that gangs will become more gruesome to get more money. Same thing happened in Mexico with the drug cartels, they started by killing each other by plain old shooting. Once they realized that shooting didn't capture the imagination groups stated working to outdo each other in gruesome ways to kill their rivals. There is a reason why you don't negotiate with kidnappers and Nigeria is about to learn it the hard way. |

Streetinvestor2:The problem with Nigeria is not a shortage of good people, the problem is that the majority of Nigerians are drawn to quick solutions sold by anyone. Jonathan was a good person yet Nigerians couldn't wait to kick him out based on unrealistic promises. How could educated Nigerians vote for a person promising N1 to $1 think about that. |

narite:The insecurity that we experience today is largely the natural outcome of the neglect and lack of foresight over the years. Between 1999 to date, in what ways have we enhanced our law enforcement capabilities in the face of our rapidly growing population. What have we invested on a year on year basis, how have we aligned law enforcement with technology... Answers will not come from our emotional dispositions. The greatest danger is falling into the pit lane the attractive quick fix options that are so tempting before us. |

nosa2:Yet one ignorant boy with millions of followers is calling for kidnappers to name their price whatever it is and be paid via crowd funding. They call him VDM. The solution to Nigerian problems is a revolution to remove the heartless election riggers and looters |

ogawisdom:I believe VDM is wrong but then again would I believe he is wrong if it was my child that was in the bush? As for your solution; I don't quite agree. We have free and fair elections in Mexico and yet their cities are more violent than ours. Nigeria has created a monster that I honestly cant proffer a solution for. |

nosa2:We have a very big problem in our hands which I don't think we disappear by just removing the leaders. We have had 3 presidents since this security issue started and it seems the problem get worse and more complicated with successive leader. |

aj8:Look for the post that starts with I’ve been looking closely at the shifting geopolitical landscape and global energy data, and I believe we are staring down the barrel of a massive oil supply glut. I’m repositioning my portfolio accordingly, and I wanted to share my thesis here to see what you all think. its on page 3 Here is the thing, The conversation is not directly linked to TIP. TIP will just be a victim of circumstances beyond its control. Anyway I am not willing to have the discussion here, you can ask there. P.S. I don't like having serious conversations here because it is impossible to reference them in the future and as such it feels like a waste of time. |

pluto09:There is hardly any serious thing any president can do. Most of the security challenges are coming from the North. U can't be bombing the North and still need their support during election. The North determines who wins the Presidency. It's simple politics 101. We need to go split up so each region can make its own laws. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mandem05: 3:28am On Jun 01 |
pluto09:This only tells that it is a lack of political will to solve insecurity that is the issue. Who can remember when Charles Taylor (ex Liberian president/warlord) was exiled in Nigeria? He was tried for war crimes and convicted. The initial narrative from Nigeria after he was convicted was that he could not be located. After strong pressure from the international community di man show face. Na political will be our problem. |
