You can use your 5 years work experience in the construction industry to get your skills assessed as a construction project manager.

Test your points for skill select, if it below 65 but upto 50, then complete skill select EOI and indicate interest in WA - 491

Ykolags:
Hello everyone,

I am about to begin my PR journey and would sincerely appreciate guidance from experienced members here.

I am 37 years old, single

B.Sc in Building Construction
Close to 5 years of total experience in the construction field
Over 1-year active internship
About 2 years of solid post-graduation experience (excluding NYSC)
NYSC at Lagos State Ministry of Works,
Registered my own construction company during NYSC (one-man business, handled projects independently)
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering (completed in Poland). Currently partnering with a startup in the UK on waste management sustainability. (Freelance)
I currently work as a data centre technician here in Poland.
IELTS 7 (overall)

My concerns:
• I am currently living in Poland, my current job does not count as I don't have a degree in computer science
• My NYSC experience was at the Lagos state Ministry of Works — not sure if this counts for skill assessment.
• My self-employed experience has no payslips or tax documents. And I am outside Nigeria, not sure I can work that out
• My master’s in Environmental Engineering, not sure if my freelancing with this startup company in the uk counts

You may not be able to get your Biochemistry degree assessed but you stand a good chance with your MBA.

Next steps is to get 1 year post MBA work experience.

Start gathering your documents while at it - English test, payslips, employment letter, etc
Soleye24:
Good afternoon big man, please I need help on where I actually fit. I studied biochemistry and graduated in 2017 with a second class upper.

Since then I have been teaching chemistry and biology before getting a job in a Nigeria commercial bank in 2022. This is my 4th year as a banker and by the grace of God I will be completing my MBA (marketing) this year April.
Kindly advise me on where I fit in and the necessary steps to take, thank you.

I'm not sure what Technical education means.

For your MBA, first step is to get skills assessment using your 11 years work experience which is great.

Is your work experience before or after your MBA degree? It would be good to see your CV to know your options.

Madiba55:

No, it wont. So long as your TRA assessment outcome letter is still valid.

judemurphy:
Please help,

I got my TRA assessment in 2024 and now I want to write my English exam but the challenge now is, the passport number I used during my TRA as expired and I have done a fresh passport with a new passport number. So I'll be having different passport number for both TRA and English assessment.

Do you think it's going to be a problem for me

Good evening, thank you for the feedback. Please how do I reach you for more discussions and clarifications?
Or maybe I should ask my question here, what type of ielts am I to write? What's the minimum score?

Hello House, I'm 31yrs with a diploma(ND & HND) in elect/elect engineering I have have 3 years experience as a power distribution system operator and 2 years experience as a production Technician.
My wife is 27 and she studied biochemistry with 1 year experience as a lab scientist.
I have gone through the occupation list and I found;
323211 Fitter(general)
312312 Electrical Engineering Technician
312311 Electrical Engineering Draft person
What occupation do I have a very high chance on among the ones listed above.
Thanks 🙏
With your certificate and experience, you should be able to get a positive outcome as either in 312311 or 312312. I got a positive outcome for 312311 via CDR without including my experience. I didn't claim points for experience as I only did it to add point to my wife

Not eligible - Crawford is a tier 2 university so her 4 year degree won’t be considered a Bachelors. Music occupations requires a Bachelors (AQF7).

Good afternoon everyone… Has anyone tried to assess ICAN or CIMA certificate with Australia for migration? I am planning to use either my ICAN or CIMA certificate see what point I can get. I have experience in both finance and data analytics but no official and recognized qualifications in data analytics, just finance.

I am looking for the best possible route I can take for skilled worker of 6+ years of experience.

I would appreciate any help I can get.
