It’s funny how IKEJAHOTEL paid their tasere 2026 interim dividend ahead of the FY 2025’s final dividend. |

For me, if you bought stock before Tinubu, when dollar was N600, fuel was N200 or so and inflation was above 22%...you need to have made like 10x between 2023 till now to just to break even. That's why I never bothered. I think 2024-2025 was a good time to come in because of fx stability.. Anything earlier and it's still just poverty olympics you are playing because the SP500 would have been a much better choice. ositadima1: |

megawealth01:The only gambling I do is to bet against Super Eagles when they are playing a high stakes match. If they win I am happy my team won and I don't mind losing the money. If they lose I am sad but I get small consolation from the money I won. So far I am up in my gambling career |

Nigeria has been ranked 5th in the latest Africa’s 20 best-performing countries by Jeune Afrique and The Africa Report, which noted that the country was weighed down by a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita that has fallen over the reference period, a high level of debt (more than 90 per cent of GDP in 2024), weak regional integration, and a rule of law, which is among the most deficient on the continent. It also misses out on the Top 10 most prosperous African countries. According to the Atlantic Council’s 2026 Prosperity Index, Africa’s most prosperous nations are those that have managed to combine economic opportunity with strong social outcomes, environmental sustainability and greater inclusion. MEGAWEALTH01 is wondering wetin this government really don achieve since three years now? 🤔 |

deathwing:The current market under Tinubu beats the naira devaluation from anytime in Buhari’s era no matter how you look at it. If you bought shares in 2016, you have made gains now in dollars for most stocks. |

chimex38:I always maintain that any semblance of sanity in the Nigerian economy will only begin with serious cleansing in the banking sector and the CBN itself. That the setting was rotten even from the head (CBN ) before now may be debatable but not in doubt. At least we have a Governor with IZAL and scrubbing brush for now. |
