If C I Leasing Plc does not publish a public Apology or Explanation, as to why the price of their shares was not Marked down for dividend after their 1st June, 2026 Qualification Date, I will have no other option, than to take legal steps on it. Such corporate anomaly should not be swept under the carpet.

Is it the company or the NGX's responsibility?

In cases like this, if I call you, then you call who you think is responsible. And we progress to that side.

Dangote refinery serving the rich first cool

Alright 0.35 USD at #1400 = 490

Assuming that HNI gets at huge 50% discount (can't be up to that)

Then expect the IPO in September to be less than #735 or 0.53 USD

Do you mean the payment date? The mark down is on the payment ex-dividend day (the next day after qualification day) and not on the qualification day.

FYI

C&I Leasing declared a final dividend of 20 kobo per share for the 2025 financial year, payable on 15 June 2026. The ex‑dividend (qualification) date was 2 June 2026, and shareholders whose names appeared on the register at the close of business on 1 June 2026 are entitled to the payment

Thank you Sir.
The mark down is not on the payment day.

I mean to say the ex-dividend date - the next day after qualification date. For C & I Leasing, the qualification date is 1st June, ex-dividend/marked down date on 2nd June and payment date 15th June.

FIDSON continues to slide.

🔻 -9.95% intraday
🔻 3 straight red sessions (if it holds)
🔻 -27.03% WoW
The stock has now given up more than a quarter of its value this week
VWAP sits at ₦101.23, meaning today's average buyer is already underwater

N1T Cap base must be achieved anyhow anyhow...

Oga Aj8, what's with this VERITASKAP stagnancy self?
Pls sir what's the new common sense target...😊

ARADEL: Why are retailers selling, when they'll again start pursuing at high price?
Can't they see the heavy cross deals?
@yMcy56, the stagnancy is the market’s current interpretation of the company’s worth.
Some notable issues
1. OS is 13.8b but the weighted average was used in the calculation of the EPS for both the end of the year 2025 and Q1 2026
2. Premium fell significantly in Q1
3. The forecast for Q2 as provided by the company headed south
4. Cash dropped significantly
5. The general “COVID” affecting mostly the low-cap insurance firms, probably a reflection of how we all view insurance here in Nigeria..” If you must use insurance, play with the big caps to avoid long grammar etc. “
6. Etc still plenty.

However Common Sense based on an average of 4 is as follows ( market doesn't trust the weighted average I guess)
So let's compute based on the OS out there for now.

OS= 13,866,666,666.00 NGX
Q1 2026 = 1, 535, 227 bill approx
EPS based on above = 1,535,227/13,866,666,666.00
=0.11
X 4 =0.44
X4 again = 1.76

Until there is some clarity around the OS now and in the future viz a viz recap status…..

That’s where the market seems to be for now.

Let’s look towards Q2

Thanks and thanks for your time Sir. 🙌

When they announce their Recap plan, it may likely start getting attention by then.
In my opinion , I dont see it going below 1.50/1.60 all things being equal
