essentialone:You are seeing it as the opening price the next day but in actual fact it is done at COB on the qualification day. By the way did you check the opening price the following day? I am just curious because 20kobo might be too small to notice |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 8:51am On Jun 11 |
megawealth01:Trump's main concern is the price of crude oil because a very high crude price could affect the US economy and the citizens would kick him and his party out of govt; that's why he's managing and trying to avoid a full escalation of the war with Iran. Otherwise, Iran does not stand a chance. |

searchng4love:The total liabilities and indebtedness is about N3 trillion. Their proven oil reserves (currently) is in excess of 1.1billion barrels. Do the estimate, using even a very conservative crude price of $30 per barrel at N1350/$. |

It can still dip. I sha bought a little for the first time at 99-100 since I don't have any Pharma exposure in my portfolio. If it dips even lower, will consider buying more presiade: |

Please, I need advice on how to resolve an issue regarding my daughter's Transcorp shares. My daughter owns 1,000 units of Transcorp Plc shares. About two years ago, we stopped receiving dividend payments, so I contacted the Registrar, who informed me that the shares had been sold. However, I did not authorize or execute any sale of these shares. To verify the status of the shares, I contacted CSCS, and they confirmed that the 1,000 units are still in my daughter's account. When I later decided to sell the shares, I encountered more challenges. African Prudential stated that my daughter does not have any shares, while my stockbroker's records still show that she owns the 1,000 units. At this point, I am confused because I am receiving conflicting information from different parties. Has anyone experienced a similar issue before? What steps should I take to resolve this matter and establish the true status of the shares? I would appreciate any guidance or advice. Thank you. ::: |

Bukkydudu:Request for a copy of her CSCS statement from the broker or from CSCS to clear the doubt. * Dont forget that TRANSCORP did 1:4 reconstruction sometimes ago......meaning the quantity might have reduced to 250units (if you're referring to qty b/4 reconstruction) * Also note that if you're requesting for a copy of her CSCS statement from CSCS, it comes with fee payment. * Remember, what you have in your portfolio might not be total stocks or quantities you have for any particular stock..... CSCS statement takes priority over your trading portfolio. |

Agbalowomeri:Custodian or Cornerstone? Both are good to have or keep on one's radar actually.... For me Custodian has gone up and still needed more fuel but CORNERST is undervalued @CP in my layman's opinion.... Considering the jump in profit in Q3, I think Cornerstone is still a buy @CP.... This is a 2 digit stock if delivering Q-on-Q... We see how the scheme of arrangement goes.......May possibly be favourable.... *Note the "May", make nobody come for me if otherwise (most unlikely sha) 😁 |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by searchng4love: 11:49am On Jun 11 |
mikeapollo:Their liabilities and debt obligations completely dwarf their physical asset base, the company has been operating with Negative Total Equity (around -₦508 Billion). When a company has negative equity, it means that mathematically, if they sold every single thing they owned today, they would still owe creditors hundreds of billions of naira. Every kobo of profit they make right now is immediately hunted by interest payments and principal repayments. Never buy a company where the debt outweighs the equity. |
