I don't see ARADEL's transactions as crashing but as earlier heavy cross deals, at least so far....
The market is still retailers market for now from my observation.....
The release of the results may change the game again.....
Q2 is almost over and they are expected to have made massive gains for Q2..
I may be wrong but results will clear things
I expect the decline in oil price to be steady and long term. And as oil price crashes the result of oil companies will keep getting worse. I am talking months and years not days or weeks. Demand supply dynamics is changing

The fall of oil that I expected has begun and it is going to be a long cold winter. Iran coming online, Venezuela coming online, Russia downloading. We are here for it
Was oil falling before the war? Was gas falling? Where will the winter come from?

So what happened to your circa N100?
Or you just wake up and type whatever comes to your mind? tongue
You may still end up pursuing the stock at your same circa 100 😁
Go back to my POSTS during the WEEKEND..........

I started LIQUIDATING my position in OANDO last week Thursday IMMEDIATELY I DISCOVERED that OIL PRICES are CRASHING.

And every SMART TRADER knows that OIL PRICES DICTATES NGX MOVEMENT....

Will START REPOSITIONING at circa #45

Meanwhile WALE is not in HASTE to RELEASE OANDO results.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 1:08pm On Jun 15
Nigerian oil companies are also becoming gas giants. Seplats Q1 results were bolstered almost entirely by the gas business since they did not benefit from the oil price windfall.

Aradel is fast scaling its gas business while trying to pump as much oil as possible.

Qatar’s NLNG almost-monopoly (20% of world total) would take years to rebuild and companies like Aradel and Seplat are ready to benefit from the scarcity and hike in international prices. NLNG just completed their train 7 and gave already positioned themselves. Whoever sees Aradel as an ‘oil company’ is not looking at the future of global energy.

This time may be different. I would have run for USD if not that we have Dangote Refinery, liberalized FX and downstream sector.

Thanks for this.
Even if war should end today, what about the damages done already?
Peter, can it be fixed today as well?
Even if oil should crash, is it within a week that everything will take U-shape?

Also, those advocating "crash" forgot that Dangote Refinery is also there? huh
Peterichy come answer for yourself o 🥹

Even dividend hunters can’t lift Dangote Cement right now — the bull is cooling off. Strong results may give some companies a modest push in July and August. Dangote’s IPO could trim gains again in September, but I expect more stability toward November and December. Plan your trades wisely and accumulate with caution.

Agba's WyClef Jean song comes to mind now, Gone Till November

The journey has just begun
You think this war is over? There is no agreement yet. Iran has its 14 points, which the United States has not agreed to. On the other hand, Trump keeps announcing a deal, lol.

Then there is Israel, which remains adamant and continues to attack Lebanon, one of Iran's key concerns. In my opinion, buy crude as it falls and be patient, because I believe it will rise again.

This war is not over yet. The U.S. may eventually try to put boots on the ground, which could result in significant casualties. Just listen to what Iran is saying, what the U.S. is saying, and what Israel is doing. That alone is enough to tell you that there is no end in sight.

So you want to argue that they will fight forever?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 1:44pm On Jun 15
Lol. Exactly. People tend to forget Aradel has already done >100% appreciation before the war. The end of the war wont necessarily casue a fall in its value.

I think all parties apart from Israel are war weary now. I am confident this agreement would hold this time around.

Israel not being war-weary is exactly my point. Why was the U.S. involved in this war in the first place, if not because of Israel? If Israel still wants to fight, then the war is not over.

In my view, as long as the underlying issues remain, it is too early to declare the conflict finished.

They will not fight for ever.
But it is obvious that one of Trump's main concerns in this war is the price of crude oil! He wants to avoid high prices, otherwise it would cost him and his political party back home in US.
If Hezbollah stops attacking Israel, then the ceasefire may last much longer. If not, Israel would hammer them and things may deteriorate again. The ragtag Houthi rebels are also there.
But if Iran truly has agreed and no longer pursuing nuclear weapons, then it gives hope for a lasting peace.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 2:00pm On Jun 15
In fact, the reason the U.S. finds it difficult to put boots on the ground and accept those losses is that the United States was never directly threatened. The U.S. is thousands of kilometres away from the Middle East. This is all about Israel, and it would be difficult to explain heavy casualties to the American people.

To this day, I am still not sure what Iran did directly to the United States that would justify the U.S. attacking Iran in the first place.

They won't fight forever. Trump is obviously tired and wants to get out. He is literally begging for the deal. We need to hear from Iran.

You are not aware many American soldiers and citizens have been killed in terror attacks sponsored and masterminded by Iran?
Just try do a little research?
''Death to America'', ''Death to Israel'' is an official slogan in the Ayatollah's parliament!

The US would have found a way to apply more sanctions and/or attack on Iran long ago, but the dynamics changed a bit with Obama and Biden (Democrats) coming to power.

Let's not get into a very long argument. What exactly did Iran do to the United States that led the U.S. to attack Iran this time, the current war we are discussing? Please list the actions Iran took and provide sources. I want to learn from you.

Lets be watching na. Oil that is going sub $50
When oil dropped by 40% but production grows by 500% what do you think will happen.

Renaissance is now a major gas producer. Aradel owns over 50% of Renaissance.
This is highlight of renaissance q1 performance
