I told you before about this UNITY Bank but you seems nonchalant about it....
You for don collect your money and wish them safe journey.....

I told you PROVIDUS isn't listed and didn't have any plan to list yet......
Someone even mentioned that they prefer their private lifestyle.

They paid people off.....but no Form, update or official announcement was made concerning the merger.....except the Court Sanction we heard about.

Anyway, try and hold your broker for updates and try contact PROVIDUS directly on what the fate of those not yet paid-off is.
They should have investor relations email.

Your broker (Meristem) is not party to the transaction. It's between the shareholder and the company, through the registrar.

Contact the registrar, if you had/have Unity Bank shares.

megawealth01:
grin

I'm currently fighting to ensure all my UNITY BANK shares are swapped to the new entity...

Na werey we dey use dey cure werey

I'm hopeful that I will have all my shares swapped

For them to start paying people it means they have started the swapping process...

For MERISTEM to tell me that my shares are still intact is a relief but I will continue sending them MAILS non-stop alongside the registrar so they go have mercy on me and swap all

The Other Face of the Market

To the newbies, don't be scared, the current face of the market is also part of the game. Everything is in order.
Whether you recently started your stock investment journey or are exploring equity or balanced funds, be calm.

Whichever level you are in the market, it is important to understand that the current market situation is normal. Market cycles have always existed; markets move upward or downward over time.

For discerning investors, a bearish/down market presents an opportunity. By applying a naira cost averaging strategy, this is a good time to accumulate fundamentally sound, dividend-paying stocks in tranches. In simple terms, continue buying during market dips. This approach helps reduce risk and positions you for gains when the market rebounds.

When the market eventually recovers, you will benefit not only from capital appreciation but also from dividends earned while holding these investments. Note that a down market doesn't stop dividends from a fundamentally sound company.

Always remember that price movements in the market are influenced by many factors, and a stock’s price does not necessarily reflect its true value.

According to the popular saying by the living legend Warren Buffett, " Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy"

Invest wisely, follow your investment objective, not the fears, noise, or hype.

QUICK RECAP OF MARKET CLOSE 16 JUNE 2026 (Report Extract)- TARGET TECHNICAL

WHAT THE MARKET DID
The stock market fell 0.53% on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. More people sold shares than bought them.

But underneath, big investors were quietly busy. The number of shares traded fell 6%, but the total cash value of trades jumped 17%. That tells us that small traders were scared, while large funds were moving billions of Naira into specific stocks.

WHAT BIG INVESTORS WERE DOING
Buying pressure was strong in stocks like CONOIL and PRESTIGE. Buyers swept up every share available.

===================================

Comparative Summary (16 Jun 2026 vs 15 Jun 2026)

Market Liquidity showed an institutional volume/value divergence as total volume declined by 5.92% while turnover value expanded significantly by 17.01%, indicating high-value block positioning amidst a broader market selloff. Market breadth remains structurally negative at 0.51x despite improving from the previous session, confirming that systemic supply continues to dominate equity floors. With aggregate volume printing at 535.40 million shares, the market remains above the 400M threshold, validating an active Day 2 Bearish Cycle under Taylor's 3-Day Rhythm. The benchmark index contraction was highly systemic across major domestic sectors, with local currency depreciation to 1,359.33 NAFEX further compounding foreign portfolio caution.
===========================
Selling pressure dominated in stocks like XXXX and XXXX. Sellers overwhelmed buyers.

A large block trade of XXXX shares was done at a price above the market. That suggests big money sees that stock as a long-term bargain.

The overall market is below its short-term average, which is a warning sign. It means you should not buy random stocks now. Only buy companies that are showing real strength.

Computer models predict the market has a 43% chance of going up today and a 57% chance of going down. So we are in a short-term downward cycle. Patience is key.

WHICH STOCKS ARE STRONG
XXXX and XXXX are showing good momentum and are ignoring the market's weakness.

XXXX scored perfectly on all technical checks. Big money is actively buying it.

Some major banks like XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are trading below what they are really worth. They are on sale for patient investors.

STOCKS TO AVOID

Avoid XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX for now.

WHAT TO EXPECT TODAY
The market is likely to be sideways to slightly lower. The main index closed below its short-term average, which puts a brake on buying.

Oil prices have dropped to near 80 dollars per barrel, which may reduce the attraction of the Nigeria market to FDIs.

Expect some early selling pressure, especially in banking stocks, but the market may stabilise later in the session as big investors step in.

BOTTOM LINE
The market is cooling off. Oil prices are down, and banks are under pressure. But big money is not leaving the market – it is just moving from banks into industrial stocks, oil companies, and selected banks like XXXX.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Do not panic sell your strong shares. Avoid weak stocks where big investors are dumping. Consider adding to high-quality stocks like XXXX and the discounted banks while they are on sale.

Keep your position sizes smaller than usual until the market shows a clear recovery signal. Stay patient and focused on strong individual companies.

We can plan with the above for the market today:

Institutional buys: XXXX, XXXX, XXXX

Institutional Selling: XXXX, XXXX

Trend/Sector Picks: XXXX, XXXX, XXXX

Speculative Stock Picks: XXXX

Avoid: XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX

Full Bid Candidates: XXXX

Oil PRICES started RISING moments ago because TRUMP isn't SURE Iran will AGREE to the DEAL based on the OUTCOME of the G7 meeting CURRENTLY taking place

TRUMP now said if IRAN don't AGREE to their DEAL then they will start another ROUND of NEGOTIATIONS.

Meanwhile we added More UNITS to our JACKPOT STOCK OANDO @t circa #46.
