The full year result didn't bring anything different from what we expected. They only got Thier new asset just before the close of q4 so not so much was expected.
The main game should be q1 2026. That's where our interest is.

Chief, do you see it decline to which point? At what price will you buy?
Sunrisepebble:
Ah, why do you say so.
I think the result is average but don’t see it declining that much

ARADEL

As a standalone, the FY '25 result is average.

However, I believe that the juice is in the Q1 '26 that's where the profits from the acquisitions will reflect in addition to the spike in crude prices.

Q1 EPS projection ~ ₦51

In my opinion, today's Ekiti gubernatorial election feels like a waste of resources. From the way things appear, one could easily conclude that the APC is set to continue in power. If that's truly the case, it raises questions about the value and cost of the entire electoral process.

After reviewing ARADEL's financial statements, I'm becoming increasingly interested in the company. The fundamentals are compelling enough that I may not wait for it to come down to my preferred entry point. Sometimes, quality businesses deserve a premium. grin
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 9:44am On Jun 20
I don’t own the stock anymore and personally think it’s overvalued but the market and people seem to like the stock, so not sure it’ll decline much. Let us see Q1.

Or maybe that it’s not overvalued but Seplat is undervalued. I don’t see why it should be trading at a higher valuation than Seplat, that was what informed my decision to sell last year and then move the cash to Seplat.

One might tend to look at the PE and think it’s attractive but I think the best way to look at valuation for an O&G company is either EV/EBITDA, Free cash flow yield or even price to operating cash flow, all of which Seplat trumps Aradel. Even in terms of Reserves also

That exactly is the problem. I think the politicians are trying to ensure Tinubu is not able to use the NGX growth as an achievement. The downward trend started the week someone linked the NGX growth to Tinubu's policy. I may be wrong.

For now, I will stay on the sideline watching the happenings until after election.
Is it everything you guys tie to politicians. Even banditry and insecurity, you lot will tie it to politicians and opposition. Smh

Hypocrites. When it goes south, they blame it on all manner of government policies. Now that it goes up, they say it has nothing to do with government policies. Na wah.
Obviously it is government policies. Share prices are moving up because the underlying business are making more profits to the detriment to a large percentage of general population. E.g, dangcem will declare huge profit and declare higher dividend, the share price will increase, but what is happening in the society, people can no longer build their homes or afford rent because their purchasing power cannot meet up.

Who else should we blame for banditry and insecurity? Is it the ordinary man on the street you want to blame or he who is feeding fat on huge monthly security allowance and doing nothing to provide security for the people? You have leaders/politicians (most of whom are money bags) busy attending parties, celebrating, and carrying concubins around, and you expect things to work?

No election is a waste of resources.
What is democracy without an election?
All the aspirants had the opportunity to campaign and sell themselves to the electorates. So, what can make someone conclude that victory is almost certain for APC.

Let us just brace up for the plethora of excuses and big big grammar that will follow the process at least from this evening. Arumba stylee, styleee.

I think the micro economy should lie mainly on the state government.normally sme funding should be state government and LGA like the case of akwa ibom, they are trying in infrastructure but they are not focusing on the human resources in the state. It will be silly building roads and bridges and the people are still struggling financially.

This is the template they use across the country to loot - constructing roads, bridges, flyovers, etc without any opportunity cost consideration. This is what the money bags in politics do, not for the benefit of the people but to make billions for themselves. And when you see the quality of the projects, you immediately know the objective.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ogawisdom(m): 12:15pm On Jun 20
Aradel declares a final dividend of N23/share, rounding off the total dividend to N33 for the financial year 2025.
Qualification Date: July 9th, 2026
Payment Date: July 31st, 2026.

Q1 will be great and it should get better from there.

it is annoying because the allocation they receive is more than enough to develop their states. For example the present governor of edo state disconnected the electricity from the state grid because it was done by the former governor, the man is just focused on two flyovers and some roads.most governors don't focus on the major issues affecting their citizens they are only focused on projects people see, some don't know why they are governors.

Another example is the fct minister,he is focused on roads in fct but doesn't care about the fcta staffs and this same mentality is across every government ministries both state and federal, nobody cares about welfare and that is what improves the purchasing power of Nigerians.
