Rudybaba updated. https://x.com/i/status/2068259273390387597
I don’t own the stock anymore and personally think it’s overvalued but the market and people seem to like the stock, so not sure it’ll decline much. Let us see Q1. Or maybe that it’s not overvalued but Seplat is undervalued. I don’t see why it should be trading at a higher valuation than Seplat, that was what informed my decision to sell last year and then move the cash to Seplat. One might tend to look at the PE and think it’s attractive but I think the best way to look at valuation for an O&G company is either EV/EBITDA, Free cash flow yield or even price to operating cash flow, all of which Seplat trumps Aradel. Even in terms of Reserves also This thread echoes my sentiment: https://x.com/rufyb/status/2067298814461898806?s=46
|

When a company takes longer than the expected time to release result,, I start to get uncomfortable Using the FUGAZ, as am example. I stand to be corrected, GTB was the first to declare FY2025, followed by Zenith. Both delivered solid dividends. FBN, UBA and Access took like forever only to declare no dividends Promptness is a strong character of a company that is well run. I only do business with a well run company. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 2:58pm On Jun 20 |
I think this is understandable due to the reasons they stated. They had already released unaudited to the market Shalom428: |

I'm not talking about Aradel, I'm just saying, generally I become uncomfortable when a company too longer than the necessary to release Truly some cases are exceptional, but if you are in the same industry and the same rules apply to everybody like my FUGAZ example, iI start to get uncomfortable Sunrisepebble: |

Let me summarize the REPORT in a layman's language... ARADEL paid a strong ₦33 dividend for FY2025, but its core crude oil business struggled, with profits falling 45% due to rising operating costs. It has also taken on significantly more debt, increasing financial risk. Although global oil prices have been favorable in 2026, the company's future performance will largely depend on whether its recent acquisitions generate strong returns and whether higher oil prices can outweigh rising operating expenses. |

The hustle is real. As ARADEL Bleep up wetin go remain for our OANDO? ![]() PETERiCHY: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 3:50pm On Jun 20 |
Aradel should release its 2026 Q1 results. Q2 is almost due. I am beginning to see them in the same light as Oando. Nigerian-run businesses can fall person hand. Seplat has been stellar, partly because of its British CEO. This is why I am becoming skeptical of Seplat, as Elumelu has become a key player, and one Okon has replaced the White Man. |

Na wa o, which kain south african-esque inferiority complex talk be this? So ND Western, Renaissance, Oilserve (the company that is laying most of the groundbreaking AKK and OB3 pipelines), First E&P (who laid most of Dangote's gas sub-sea pipeline ), are all led by foreigners? OsunOriginal: |

deathwing:Look, it is not because we are not competent or don't have requisite qualifications. In many cases, we are even more qualified academically. However, we don't have the discipline required to make things work. You wonder why Dangote is flooding the top hierarchy of his companies with Indians? |
