On ARADEL Significant growth in both revenue and profitability. Revenue increased to ₦728.5 billion, up about 264% from Q1 2025. Profit after tax rose to ₦120.3 billion, more than three times last year's figure. Earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₦15.24, reflecting stronger returns for shareholders. It maintained a strong cash position, giving it ample liquidity for operations and future investments. Growth was largely driven by increased oil and gas production and the contribution from its expanded investment in ND Western. In my own observation although I don't have a single unit of ARADEL, this is an excellent Q1 report. Revenue, profit, and earnings all more than doubled, making it one of the strongest quarterly performances among NGX-listed companies. For long-term investors, the results reinforce Aradel's position as one of Nigeria's leading and fastest-growing energy companies, although investors should continue monitoring DEBT LEVELS and OIL PRICE trends © MEGAWEALTH01 |

missuzoma:You should hold on for now: Disregard their incoming result. Disregard the news in the middle East. The reason you need to hold on longer is simple. At this current level, no Institutional buyer will accumulate Aradel, people that are buying now are retailers that their money don't move the market as much. But once institutional money enter the market, Aradel will move. The risk for entering now is if retailers eventually gets tired, consolidation will happen and if that happens, Aradel will fall back down to the level Institutional buyers are comfortable to buy. Even if retailers push up ARADEL from this level and everything goes smooth, it won't be long before it gets to overbought region. And I can promise you, another correction will happen. So hold on for now.

As expected bigger numbers due to consolidation but I don’t think it’s “fantastic”, especially considering the market price. My own two cents sha. Rufy again shares my sentiment https://x.com/rufyb/status/2069067123024957483?s=46 yMcy56: |

Mr. Market always have a mind of its own. When analysts digest it finish first. Remember, those assets will most likely continue to add to bottom line profits... |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Potvalor: 4:11pm On Jun 22 |
Why is Aradel accumulating forex translation losses, leading to comprehensive loss and reduced equity? Abi them been obtain dollar-based assets at a higher rate then? Cos IMO, if they maintain this Q1 form for the rest of the year, their 2026 FY dividend is likely not to be attractive (that’s if they pay at all). My own layman's understanding of the result at first glance. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 4:11pm On Jun 22 |
Expectations: The market is future-focused, so we expected a big Q1 (acquisition, war-driven oil price jump) and the share price ran up accordingly. So the correct question is not whether Aradel had a "fantastic" Q1, but whether it had a better Q1 than expected. And what the future now holds from current share price. yMcy56: |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 4:20pm On Jun 22 |
In my observation and primary concern is the issue of higher debt and the resulting finance costs, but the company's strong cash generation and profitability currently appear sufficient to support these obligations. But like I said earlier Investors should monitor debt levels, cash flow, and production performance in the coming quarters to ensure the strong results remain sustainable. HesInMe: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 4:21pm On Jun 22 |
Potvalor:The oil and gas upstream sector is capital intensive, most of which comes from the West. There is no way the companies could avoid such translation losses in an unstable currency regime. The panacea is to make enough revenue and income to offset these losses |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 4:22pm On Jun 22 |
HesInMe:Expectations was on Q4 2025 but didn't materialize. There was bull that touches many stocks, ARADEL also moved with expectations of something big from the acquisitions......but the profits didn't start coming in in Q4..... It started getting sell off....but Q1 has now come to establish part of the expectations and to solidify the base. You mentioned about Oil price, how low do you think it can go to affect the bottom line and profitability when these guys are Upstream players? As earlier said, let's watch has events unfolds... If not for the bearish situation of the market, the price ought to rally and balance at circa 2k or above...🥹 |

Otedola sold his own company, Gerengu to buy shares in Dangote’s Company. Big Money is Not Emotional. Small Money is emotionally connected to everything. Otedola is like the Warren Buffet of Nigeria - there’s no smarter investor in Nigeria than Otedola. Zero attachment to anything. He moves like the wind. He is called ORACLE by those close to him. When I grow up, I want to be like OTE-Dollar. People are jealous that Dangote granted him $100M private allocation - but they fail to know that Otedola is Dangote’s most loyal mentee. If Dangote tells Otedola to jump, he will jump. Dangote has never also scammed him - a mentor must never scam a mentee. Our generation need to learn from these elders. I’m deeply inspired by the big Moves surrounding this Dangote Refinery IPO. Truth be told, before the shares makes it to the public, long term friends would have taken important positions. The market will make friends richer. Don’t envy the Dangote circle - build your own now. Start making BIG CORPORATE MOVES. Value relationships. Even on this faceless platform you can meet faced people who would be interested in your well-being, just play SAFE |

All fair points. I'm not saying Aradel will crash, but I'm not so sure a strong rally from this point is in the cards. But what do I know? We rely on people like both of you who have a better feel for the market to help us find the way forward. Personally sha, I got into Aradel at 460ish and sold everything at 1900. We'll see if it was a good call. yMcy56: megawealth01: |

I expect Q2 result to be even more fantastic because the gulf war crude oil windfall only affected March earnings in Q1, but persist almost throughout Q2. Aradel could be doing better, but I am glad with the Q1 result. These are the numbers I liked most:Operating cash flow: ₦868.3bn. PAT: ₦120.3bn That is an extraordinary cash conversion quarter. The company generated almost ₦0.9 trillion of operating cash in just three months! HesInMe: |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 4:43pm On Jun 22 |
If oil prices remained elevated during the Iran-related disruptions and production stayed strong, then I would expect a Q2 result showing revenue above ₦700bn again,PAT materially above Q1, and EPS possibly exceeding ₦18–20 for the quarter. If Aradel delivers that, annualized EPS could move toward ₦60–80/share, which would make the current valuation look very attractive, even for new entrants BUT, of course, this Q1 result still does not yet fully demonstrate the earnings power many investors expected from the ND Western acquisition. yMcy56: |
