I'm beginning to think that you have a mission to see ARADEL down, maybe you're planning to accumulate and needs to badmouth it as much as possible....

Over 3bn transactions done in ARADEL today....
So who are those buying when you're aggressively marketing against it?
Why are some analysts bullish about the share price against your assertions?
Can you tell us the metrics used and your fair value so we can know where you're coming from?

I've not seen this moniker's comment here before now....
Can you tell us what your previous moniker is if you don't mind?

📌 Ellah Lakes Restructures Balance Sheet: 2.25 Billion New Shares Listed After ₦6.3bn Debt-to-Equity Conversion

📊 Overview: What Happened?

Ellah Lakes Plc has completed a major financial restructuring, converting debt into equity and listing the newly created shares on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).

👉 This is known as a Debt-to-Equity Conversion

🧠 Simple Meaning (In Plain Terms)

Instead of repaying ₦6.3 billion in debt with cash, Ellah Lakes:

Converted that debt into company shares
Gave lenders/investors ownership in the company
Listed those shares on the stock market

💰 Key Transaction Details

🔹 1. Debt converted

Total debt converted: ₦6.306 billion
Conversion price: ₦2.80 per share

🔹 2. New shares issued

2,252,142,858 new ordinary shares
Each share: 50 kobo unit value

🔹 3. Listing date

23 June 2026
Listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX)

📊 Impact on Share Capital

Before listing:

After listing:

👉 Increase of about:

2.25 billion new shares added

⚖️ Why companies do this

Debt-to-equity conversion is usually done to:

Reduce debt burden
Improve financial stability
Strengthen balance sheet
Avoid cash repayment pressure
Attract long-term investor confidence

📉 What this means for shareholders

✔ Positive sides:

Company becomes less debt-heavy
Financial structure becomes more stable
Better long-term sustainability

⚠️ Possible downside:

Share dilution
Existing shareholders now own a smaller percentage of the company
Earnings per share may reduce in the short term

📌 Market Interpretation

This type of listing is typically seen as:

A financial restructuring move
Not necessarily a bullish or bearish signal on its own
Its impact depends on:
Future profitability
How efficiently the company uses reduced debt pressure

🧾 Bottom Line

Ellah Lakes has essentially:
👉 Converted debt into equity
👉 Increased its share base significantly
👉 Strengthened its balance sheet but diluted ownership

Must you always be talking with AI on something as sensitive as your money? AI cannot be your witness or evidence in court!
Just walk into the office or branch of the issuing house(s) or banker(s) or registrars for the Rights Issue as indicated in the Prospectus.
If you pay through them, ensure you keep records of the transaction e.g. transfer receipt, cheque etc. for future reference or evidence
Honestly I want to sue this AI, please which court can I go to? Imagine AI editing the account name to remove UBA and giving me only 'RIGHT ISSUE ACCOUNT NUMBER' so as to cover the lie in her response like PETERICHY. The account was used by United Capital during UBA right issue and read: 'UBA RIGHT ISSUE ACCOUNT NUMBER' but madam AI edited it. Honestly, I thought only PETERICHY and LOCO could do that grin grin

I have already submitted my form to
Morgan, I wanted to just pay by direct transfer to the registrar if possible but AI decided to catch cruise with me.

🔥 INTENEGINS has gone from worst to first.
Just last week, INTENEGINS was down 28.83% WoW.

It closed yesterday at ₦6.11 (+9.89%), ending the session as the market's top WoW performer at +20.75%.
From a recent low of ₦4.71 to ₦6.11, sentiment has shifted sharply.

Trading resumes shortly. Will buyers keep the momentum alive? 👀

Another classic Maradona move by ELLAH mgt.

The ₦7.066bn payables to related-parties is what they converted. While I have no issues with debt to equity, I am unable to fathom WHY the d2e was done at a meagre ₦2.80
Since the so-called funds were received in November 2025 (SP was circa ₦10.80), WHY convert it to equity at ₦2.80?
(that's a 'PREMIUM REWARD' of ₦8.00 for a failed acquisition)

*SEC Cracks Down on Unauthorised Dangote Refinery IPO Promotions, Orders Immediate Refunds*

_By Gilbert Ayoola_

Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a Cease and Desist Order, warning investors and capital market operators against unauthorised solicitations linked to a purported Dangote Petroleum Refinery Initial Public Offering (IPO).

In a regulatory notice issued on June 23, 2026, the SEC clarified that no IPO, public offer, or share sale involving Dangote Petroleum Refinery has been filed with or approved by the Commission. Consequently, any individual or organisation soliciting funds, opening investment accounts, collecting expressions of interest, or promising guaranteed share allocations is operating outside the law.

The regulator described such activities as market manipulation and directed all affected operators to cease promotional activities immediately.

The SEC issued four compliance orders to stockbroking firms, investment platforms, and other market intermediaries:

1 Immediately stop publishing, distributing, or promoting any material relating to the sale of Dangote Refinery shares.

2 Remove all unauthorised marketing content from websites, digital platforms, and social media channels within 24 hours.

3 Halt the acceptance of deposits, account openings, subscriptions, or expressions of interest connected to the purported offering.

4 Reverse all transactions and refund investors' funds within 24 hours.

According to the Commission, failure to comply will attract sanctions under the Investments and Securities Act (ISA) 2025.

The SEC advised members of the public to exercise caution and avoid making payments in response to advertisements circulated through social media platforms, online
