Morgan Capital has not debited my trading account for my Sugar rights up till now, I hope they will not tell me stories?
Most likely, they collated all subscriptions and paid the applicable fund as a lump sum from the company account. Will now deduct individual applicable fund from each subscribers portfolio account balance ASAP.

Okay he was referring to the dividend yield.

Did he consider increase in the return on equity from 20% to 39%, increase in the net profit margin from 14% to 25% and increase in the equity from N504 billion to N694 billion.

The stock currently looks like a compounder if they can sustain the tempo till 2030, I see Lafarge as N800 stock in the next 4 years.

It has the highest upside potential in the sector

Aradel acting as a nice shelter against the NGX carnage. It is good as they have not removed the 100k trade requirement. Those selling at 1,575 must really need the money. Why sell at 10% down when the price will not move? Clarify the big guys who can move the price have decided to hold for now.

Build emergency funds before going into stock market. So you won’t be buying and selling like a trader especially if you have long term view in mind. You might want to take building emergency fund so that you are not force to sell next time

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 8:48pm On Jun 24
The drop in Dangcem and Buacem maybe due to a complaint by gov on the rise in the price of cement in recent months. The gov said that they are meeting the manufacturers. The price of cement has gone up 30% since January, and is still going up, causing serious cost issues for builders and contractors of gov projects. I hope the gov backs it's complaint with threats of allowing imports.

🚨 Cement stocks are taking a hit today.
BUACEMENT (-10%) joins DANGCEM (-10%) at limit-down, putting more than ₦30T in combined market cap under selling pressure.

Dividend payments will be much higher than historically and more frequently ie interims in Q2 or Q3 and a final. I’ve looked at Huaxin’s net profit for FY25. Nigeria is their biggest market on a consolidated basis, accounting for what looks like 45%. They are going to extract as much as they can back to Holdco, which is positive for minority shareholders. I am working with a 70-75% payout ratio.

Q1 volumes were 1.8mt. And their effective capacity is 9.5mta. On an annualized basis that comes to 75% capacity utilization. Spoken to management, they are growing capacity by 7-8% per annum. They did 66% utilization last year. Revenue per ton in Q1 was 186k and from what I’m hearing is now 200k due to increases effect of some energy related input cost, war related.

Now with new capacity of 4.5mt coming on stream next year. I have assumed 75% utilization for the plants but only from Q2 onwards. 75%(utlization)*75%(9 months)*4.5=2.5mta.

Assuming capacity utilization of old capacity (9.5mtw) grows 5% to 80%. That is now 7.6mta. And a total of 7.6+2.5=10.1mta sold.
10,100*210,000 (5% increase y/y in revenue per ton which is conservative, as cement prices have been as high as $180 per ton in USD terms, currently $145). We could potentially see 10,100*210,000=N2,100,000,000+ in revenue.
Applying 35% net margin up from their Q1 margin of 30%. I am getting an EPS of N46. The stock will re-rate to a 15-20x. That gives my N700 figure. I think the EPS is conservative I have something like N50+.

Testimonies777:
I sincerely hope so!!!. I learnt when I just came into NGX to study the market pulse with GTB. In the last two weeks, I have seen heavy selling/great offers compared to bids in GTB. PROBABILITIES: 1. Is it JANET? 2. Are serious and heavy investors selling to buy Dangote refinery? 3. Is it the effect of FOREIGN FUND PREFERENCE OF DEBT OVER EQUITY? *The Bigger Picture : Debt Over Equity
If you look at the total $10.37 billion in foreign capital imported into Nigeria in Q1 2026, the preference for fixed income over equities is massive. The high-yield environment created by the CBN's elevated Monetary Policy Rate dictates their strategy.Out of the $9.86 billion classed specifically as Foreign Portfolio Investment in Q1:Money Market Instruments: $6.50 billion Bonds: $3.23 billion Equities/Shares: $75.34 million

THE CAUSE OF RECENT RED IN THE MARKET?
Foreign funds are parking billions of dollars in 364-day Treasury Bills and FGN Bonds to capture risk-free double-digit yields, leaving Nigerian equities as a secondary, speculative play .
Interesting , I have a few fixed income deposits running at 23/24% , stress free money , don’t blame them , why take risk if you have some serious capital to deploy

But seriously watching the markets , total transaction value of 21b looked low today , opportunities should abound to enter between now and second quarter results , cash to take advantage of opportunities when it comes is always king
