There is a difference between 2023 and 2027. The truth is that Tinubu has raised the bar, and we are now talking about his second term. We have seen what he did and is doing in his first term, and honestly, we like quite a lot of it:

- Subsidy removal - Wonderful, except that this present govt nearly caused anarchy when GEJ did it 14 years ago.
- Liberalisation of forex - Good and long awaited
- Tax reform - Good and long awaited
- Capital market rebound (investor confidence) - Good and long awaited
- Nigeria rated B+ – two steps higher than 2023 - Doesn't make gar more affordable
- Seven banks rated B+ – two steps higher than 2023- Billionares getting richer. Doesn't make corn cheaper
- Companies making huge profits after paying staff well- Huge profits because of inflation because of subsidy removal and fiscal mismanagement by APC
- Airline issues resolution - Good and long awaited after mismanagement by the APC
- Oil and gas sector reforms (Shell's new $20 billion investment) - Decade of gas is technically a Buhari initiative but I'll give this to BAT
- NELFUND - Maybe reduce Seyi Tinubu and his Remi's convoy budget so everybody can go to school without debt?
- LG Autonomy
- Lagos–Sokoto Highway- Will you be able to drive on it without holding ransom money?
- Lagos–Calabar Highway - - Nigeri'a biggest infrastructure given to the president's friend without bidding
- MMIA reconstruction - - Good and long awaited
- Regional commissions in all geopolitical zones
- Electricity devolution and decentralisation bill - We pay more for electricity than America
- MREIF 20‑year mortgage scheme with single‑digit interest
- Power: estimated billing removal (more stable power in progress) - Lol, no
- State Police

While these big ticket items are good, nothing is more important as far as I'm concerned as security and the ability to eat. Moody's latest rating doesn't matter if you can't drive down sokoto highway without ten escorts and extra car to hold your ransom money. The average Nigerian life is worth less than it was ten years ago. Nobody can buy cow meat again because it's now a luxury. Able bodied office workers are begging for transport money on the road. There is a new institution called Baba Sope. EFCC goes after university students while Yahayo bello and his ilk are free.

ASI at 250k is nice until your village is wiped out by herdsmen and Tinubu stops at your city airport because he is busy and can't stay more than ten minutes.

Anyone who wants to ask him not to continue must be ready to tell us what they will do differently from what Tinubu is doing (and will hopefully continue). For example: Are you bringing subsidy back? Are you cancelling NELFUND or stopping the two highways? If you can't tell us, then don't come out.

I am sure we will see a landslide even greater than the Ekiti elections in the 2027 presidential election.

TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS MARKET COMMENTS

**ALL Share index to likely close between -0.77% and +0.80% **

Downtrend bias for the market still in place. Possibility of bounce still possible, but fundamentally the bounce may be a trap looking at current money flow for the market

Market volume is indicating that more players are moving to defensive stocks which are equally in strong downtrend for the majority.

🚨 Market Open: ARADEL opens at ₦1,418, locked at limit-down (-9.97%) for a second straight session.

Yesterday's heavy selling carries into today's open. Will buyers finally step in? 📉
Please, I kindly seek your advice – should I sell my Aradel shares? Honestly, I am at a loss as to what to do.

My average price is below ₦800, and my P&L is over 147%.

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Before deciding ask yourself Why did you buy ARADEL? Has anything fundamentally changed since then? If the thesis is unchanged, the current selloff is just temporary. If the thesis has changed it may be time to reassess. Only you can make that decision.

The problem with you all is that you insult contrary opinions rather than ask questions. You also bring partisan politics into economic discussions and only want your voice heard.
How can I vote in a man who couldn’t explain how he will solve the power problem or even any national issue at all. Peter Obi to me, is not any different from Buhari. Both have supposed integrity, but are unfortunately clueless. I made the mistake of being fooled due to twitter noise and voting him in last election. Glad he lost anyway.

BTW, you don’t have monopoly on insults.
And the one who said if I don't give you power in my first tenure don't vote Mr the second term is the one that has clue.
What you are glad about is not my business.
I am glad the market is turning red too
So everyone is glad of different things

One would think you speak on behalf of the youth.
Many of us are convinced that PBAT is the most capable of the available candidates. Tested and proven to deliver our country from macroeconomic crisis. 4 more years to go, Rejoice!
Do you really understand what you typed?
''Most capable''? On what basis? Drugs or forged certificates, or the money that comes from the drugs and power?
''Tested and proven''? With the most calamitous economic crisis in Nigeria in decades? With unprecedented accumulation of debts and nothing to show?

Do you live on earth. Why are you lying to yourself. Most of this things you mentioned only exists on paper and not in reality. Abi you haven't started paying your own bills.
And lastly 63% of Nigerians are living in hunger and poverty as the figures is projected to still increase. Ask your local government if they now receive thr funds directly from federal government.
Abi na copy and paste you sabi

Not at this current price. Let's see sub #1300. smiley
1300 self still high, that’s not its fair value. I am studying that company like hawk. It is after dividend mark down I will get into it. Hopefully it comes to it fair value to average down from current losses.

My theory is after dividend, there will be a mechanical mark down, but dividend yield is small so won’t be much. The main thing will be those that will get out after they collect dividend. It is at that point opportunity for entry will come in. Na to go find money wait till then.

Depressed because of someone that has added no single value to me in anyone based on his policies for the past 3 yrs. All the ngx has done to me is repricing of the value of the money I had before he finished the economy based on devaluation and real inflation on the street. Infact I lose 3 different businesses join as matter of his failure for the past 3 yrs .He has increased my spending on more dependant as I cannot watch them die in hunger and economic frustration, medical bills etc
I don't expect some to understand because it is just money for them only to eat food and pay thr personal bills they live for daily

ARADEL must get below 1k before I can step in depending on NGX ooooo
Anything below 1k will be a steal in my opinion, cause that presents you a margin of safety.

Fair value of Aradel is around 1100, it is at that price I am waiting for it. I guess after July 7 qualification date those who bought for dividend will want to go out so price MAY get there. But then there is always market sentiments and if investors will allow it get there. You can’t really time the market but I’m waiting patiently.

My brother: why not talk about the increase in the incidence and rate of poverty and hunger in Nigeria between May 2023 and now?
About insecurity: the FUNDAMENTAL DUTY of any govt. is to ensure the SECURITY and WELLBEING OF LIVES AND PROPERTY! The president has FAILED WOEFULLY in that regard?

What else you want to say?

Sir, don't miss the main point, the main point is this: anyone contesting against Tinubu must tell us what they'll do differently and how. That's the standard. Nigerians have tolerated too much BS from politicians, including Tinubu – it's time to demand answers.

We don't want a repeat of the 2015 saga. APC didn't do that in 2015 – they took power, and everything went south. We don't want to be fooled again. Obi, Atiku, and whoever the PDP candidate is need to tell us what they will do differently and how.

The mechanical markdown, as you said, won’t be much because the divided yield is small. The Company is careful and very much aware of what it is doing. They have a good management team. Let's get funds, fingers crossed.

Please don't ask me questions that would irritate me!
What did PBAT tell you in 2023 that he would do differently before you voted for him in 2023? And after he got the opportunity to become president, what has he done differently or to improve the SECURITY and WELFARE of citizens?

It is sickening when you people attempt to make or promote PBAT as a ''standard''! He is nothing better than the rest contenders!

The only way to improve governance in this country is to kick out anyone who has worsened the security and welfare condition of the people. If another person comes in and he too messes up, we vote and kick him out as well. We must set the bar very high for public office holders and hold them accountable.
You don't reward poor performance with re-appointment or re-election
