Agbalowomeri:All other Nigerian universities just copied, borrowed the appellation ''Great...'' from University of Ife (now OAU), the one and only ''Great Ife''. It is just GREAT IFE, just like GREAT BRITAIN; THE GREAT DEPRESSION, nothing like ''Greatest of the Greatest of the Greatest'' noise that they shout all over the place. |

The banking sector and a few others have also seen shege, and mind you, some did not even benefit much from the bullish run. Just don’t let the guy quench before the market recovers. He’s losing on other bourses as well. ![]() Agbalowomeri: |

Oasisblue:So the best form of governance is removing everything holding the livelihood of the masses together at the same time and pushing them into abject poverty without any form of provision to cushion the effects? instead more and more taxes are being rolled out by the day to collect more from the masses while huge borrowing that can't be accounted for is ongoing every quarter? If you have removed petroleum subsidy, electricity subsidy and FOREX subsidy all at once why still borrowing our future out to put the country into perpetual debt? Where are the funds freed from the removal of the subsidies if we must still borrow to fund the budget? Is it not people that are alive that can witness the eldorado of the future I don't know when APC is promising us. Please tell me the economic importance of connecting Lagos to Calabar or Lagos to Sokoto by new roads, have Nigerians not been traveling to Sokoto and Calabar from Lagos before? If not for the want of white elephant projects to loot funds in this century is it more economical to connect such long distances by new roads or rather safe water way travel to Calabar via the atlantic and and safe rail travel to Sokoto by speed train? While you are here projecting a failed government for second term hundreds of thousand of Nigerians are being held hostage everyday and as such terrorism is being funded via massive ransom payments while the government looks the other way. My prayer is that whoever that is supporting this evil of a government that is watching while Nigeria is being overran by terrorists will enjoy the dividend of what he/she support directly by encountering these terrorists one on one, just say amen! |

presiade:What should we expect from Agba in the first place? 😁 Even when there's Bull 🐂 he was shouting Bear 🐻 For more than a year, the more he shouts Bear, the more Bull rages on.. Now that there's something that looks like appearance of Bear, what do we expect? Lol. ** Agba left market when GTB did 100%......bought @18 sold @36/38, since then he's been looking for opportunities to re-enter but no way till now.. 😁 ** In my opinion, what we are witnessing in the market doesn't look like Bear yet because Banking Sector always leads.......but so far, banks are still holding up.... ** Also, bear comes with lots of -10% in most stocks and people just want to sell at any price and leave.......but so far, we still have bids and offers on the table of many stocks... ** There'll be less participation or buying of shares by investors and many stocks will be on full offer in bear market... ** Etc... ** These are just my observations and I still believe it's market correction like the ogas said.. * We see how next week and the following goes first.. |

Oasisblue:People like you are the reason some useless govts still beat their chest that they are performing? Anybody that uses the so called ''boom'' in the stock market as an achievement is totally clueless! How many people are in the capital market, out of the 200m population? Do you know some players in the market are foreigners and only play in our market because of higher capital gains, and eventually move their investments outside the country in foreign currency, also causing more pressure on the naira? A govt that wants credit for 'bold economic reforms'' but cannot tell you the tangible positive results and impact on the economy and wellbeing of the people, must be very clueless. For your information, no govt is elected to carry out ''bold economic reforms'', as you call it. Because poor, reckless economic decisions can also be labeled as ''bold reforms'' to deceive the people. A govt is elected to improve on two fundamental things: the well-being and security of lives and property. So all the so-called 'bold reforms'' would be considered useless if they cannot guarantee and improve the security and well-being of the people. It is like a student telling his parents that he worked very hard and read a lot, but he failed all his exams and scored F9 parallel, but he wants his parents to appreciate that the ''9'' in F9, is a higher and bigger number than the ''1'' in A1. Because he thinks that the parents are illiterates or fools who know nothing and are ignorant! |

ghm:If in 2015, 2019 and 2023 you didn't ask APC what they will do differently before you voted them, what we are saying now is that now that they have failed let's remove them first and vote in another person at least that has a tested integrity then if he fails another 4 years we remove him and vote in another person that's the only way we can reclaim our power as masses if not these politicians will continue to use us to play ludo. Honestly people can't give what they don't have, Tinubu doesn't have integrity and as such can't run the transparent governance needed to clean up the mess of the past because that will require frugality. You can't expect Nigerians to sacrifice while living in opulence, borrowing to fund presidential yatch and presidential air fleet while telling Nigerians to wait in hunger until they die before things will become better in heaven. The fact remains that without bias only Peter Obi can be able to frugally run that type of government whereby cost of governance will be drastically reduced so that our meagre resources can be put into use for the benefit of the masses without massive borrowing that will remove the lid covering a better future for Nigerian. I am not an obedient member, but that's my assessment of the current presidential candidates with tested capacities. Let's try another person and if he messes up we remove him after 4 years. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ghm: 2:43pm On Jun 26 |
Valthegreat:Oga, the simple thing we are asking is this: we have seen what Tinubu has done and has not done so far. Now, we are asking anyone who wants to come in to replace him to tell us what they will do differently in the next four years, and how. That way, we can choose between them and Tinubu. Otherwise, they should wait till 2031 – we don't want to enter one chance again. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 2:44pm On Jun 26 |
Meanwhile, bargainers are on queue at different junction from 40 and below to enter OANDO..... Once it reverses up, Peter will come and tell us how he entered at bottom price, now he's still nursing wounds 😁 |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 2:45pm On Jun 26 |
Lol. Your emotional blackmail wont work with me. Take it somewhere else. What alternative do you or your presidential candidate propose? The 'I will increase electricity by 10,000MW but cantt tell you how' mantra? Your submission would make sense to me if you are supporting Sowore and his AAC for President,as that is a real paradigm shift, but if it is Atiku, Obi, Amaechi and Kwankwaso, then you are just a big hypocrite as these leading candidates have the same policies and none of them will birth any new Nigeria. I am even glad Tinubu has the cojones to follow through. I am unsure the others wouldnt have chickened out- a worse scenario. I dont like Tinubu or his brand of politics. I am highly critical of this government on many fronts. I have no dog in this fight and consider all 'leading candidates' the same, but I credit this govt and the CBN for the reforms that is bringing sanity to the business environment and has seen the stock market boom. This is about the only thing I am currently benefiting from Nigeria and I dont want any clueless candidate to come to office and mortgage that on the platform of cheap populism. Valthegreat: |

Lol I sabi @Agbalowomeri well nah—the Chief Bear Market Officer of NSEMPA. ![]() Yes, I also believe that we’re only witnessing a market correction—we need a small market tempering to avoid a bigger catastrophic burst. Pension Funds Managers and other institutional investors can do some wonders early July before H1 results start to trickle in. Announcements of dividends may also drive us beyond August/September. Although Dangote Refinery IPO may distort the market a bit in September if it is not postponed. yMcy56: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 2:50pm On Jun 26 |
Peter Obi is actually the most clueless among the array of leading candidates. It is shocking to me that a region of Nigeria that has produced globally acclaimed intellectuals have no netter person than Obi to fly their flag. How anyone can listen to Obi speak and conclude this is the man I want for President baffles me. Valthegreat: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 2:52pm On Jun 26 |
ghm:Your questions is misguided? What you should ask first, is this: Has the person in govt now fulfilled the promises he made to you? If not, the one in govt right now is the ''one chance'' i.e. the deception. Learn to put more pressure on your govt, so that those who want to come in future would take you very serious and some would voluntarily withdraw from the race because they know the people would be very hard on them when they come to power. But you want to leave the people in govt, alone and have a free pass to keep mismanaging the country |

ghm:Disregard that loss, it's called paper loss. As long as you are not needing that money invested to feed. Close your investment app for now and go attend to other life issues. I am strongly against buying the dip for now except you have enough cash to spare. But even if you do have the cash — by my calculation, Aradel will still go down further so hold on and only buy the dip on recovery otherwise, you will keep buying the dip and the dip will keep dipping. I can help you figure out the recovery phase. But to keep things simple, just hold on because Aradel business isn't dead yet. |

egojeny1:- Financial Year End of PZ is MAY - Q4 result is expected anytime after the Board meeting and approval - Board Meeting has been scheduled for 30th June....but seems there's a mix up in the day and date..... * I think it's still on full offer because there's general bearish mode in the market and, because investors don't know what to expect......but there has been coded Cross Deals before now. This is just my opinion anyway. |
