This market is looking interesting. I am tempted to bring in my Dang refinery money. But make I wait small.

The funny thing about the market is that Japaul and Daar cons are not doing badly

If the owner of UBA doesn't care, what would you say about Oando, which has been giving people false hope? I don't understand why minority shareholders in Nigeria are so docile. That's why some companies take them for granted and keep milking the company at their expense.
Wale wanted to pull an Elumalu with his rights issue...but e no work

And you expect it to be negative equity for ever? No company fortunes stays the same for ever: either it worsens or improves.
The OP is targeting 5 years from now.
That is not the rule of investing for me. Your company must be well managed and fundamentals very good. Efficient, effective and consistent.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by searchng4love: 6:00pm On Jul 02
mikeapollo:
A few years back (2 or 3 years go), UBA paid fantastic bumper dividends to shareholders! Did the owners care or not?
Investment in equity is basically taking risks. Not everything would be smooth from start to finish, especially in a highly regulated sector like banking.
Several banks have experienced one issue or the other at different times which affected payment of dividend e.g. FBN, Wema, etc.
No director wants the value of his/her multi-billion wealth in investments to go down or be eroded.
Don't preach to the pope. Wale doesn't have that reputation, competence or capacity in my candid opinion

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 6:18pm On Jul 02
The ogas claiming that they know the market inside out and talking like the Oracles, we'll be here by God's grace to fault some of your bold assertions....

We forgot that those big boys who are movers and shakers of the market always have their ways one way or the other.....
Why? because they control the market with their deep pockets......
We shouldn't be surprised that what's currently happening is their handiwork......
When they're done or ready, we'll see their handworks again...

For those monitoring ASI, it will only take both SEPLAT and AIRTEL to drag it very low.....
-10% in 3-5 days is enough.....

We've been here before, we are still watching how they round up the drama again.....

If your portfolio is in negative, I won't advice selling at loss....
You don't lose until you sell
Red can again turn to green 🍏
Capital preservation should be key to you now.
It's well ❤️‍🩹

Anyone that started his investment journey from crypto would never be bothered by this dip.

You can buy a coin after 90% drop and you think you have bought a bargain only for it to drop another 90% again.

Good thing about stock is that as long you are holding fundamentally sound stock the market would always bounce back as these are real companies adding real value to the economy and humanity.

If you go buy Japaul wey de find gold for bush, you are on your own. You fit turn long term investor
