Majority of Nigerian females prefer having the man settle the bills but not all of us.

I am the 50/50 type of female. He just might be lucky if his wife is like me. Everything in every aspect of the marriage must be 50/50.
No man will wake up and say he did blah blah blah for me or anything of that nature.

Some people still don't understand what the bible say about marriage.... What the op says here is very true but not all women and not all men.... This case can be in reverse version where the woman begin to see favor from the unexpected.. I don't doubt this at all.... The key part is that as a man mk ur hand clean and also married a good wife that have not destroy his destiny when she is still single.

Also, when both persons' thoughts and beliefs are aligned properly, they go farther rather than far. It is your belief, and I won't knock down on it. It's not just a saying, ITS THE WORD OF GOD - Proverbs 18:22
[22]He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.
It's good you can testify to it but even if you didn't or aren't seeing it's veracity yet, that wouldn't have impinged on its power.
God cannot lie because He is not a man. And it doesn't just mean once you marry things start working out like you testified. It's so for some people and not so for some others till later in the marriage.
What it does mean however is that one can chase a thousand and two can chase ten thousand. There is advantage of two working as one over just one individual because if one falls, the other is there to lift him/her up.
So enjoy your blessings but also don't let them be the basis for enjoying your marriage.
Sacrifice is part of marriage and the demands for that will surely come, thats what love is all about.
