Please can you tell me the moral it exudes?
Whatever you want to do or build, be it a business, family, or career, make God the center of it so that you won't get frustrated & confused at some point.

I can waste cerebral calorie on you. Go and play with toys
The Hp of the control centre of your cerebral calorie is not more than 2Hp so you don't have any valid thing to say other than to run away with words showing that you lost

This is why I hate religion so much! Below is what the people actually said.
The people were built to remain unified and, yes, obtain fame for themselves. They never required permission to build before that point in time, even if from a God who never required that they obtain consent from him before building homes or structures. undecided

2. I truly hate the way you religious lot, particularly in Africa, Nigeria included, go on pretending everything is about your petty, selfish lives. undecided
I may sound illogical or too religious, but doing anything for self-exultation is one of the things God detests most. Prov. 27 v 2, John 7v18, Prov. 16v5,Phil 2v3-4, Matt 23v13.

Again, there existed no laws or mandates suggesting what you claim at the time of Genesis 11. undecided

Also, it's funny how you said building for self-glorification is frowned upon, yet you continued, in your previous post, to suggest building for self-glorification is allowed after pretending to have received permission from this god of yours. Religion is really...ehn! grin

I only articulated my opinion based on what I read. Many who have read it also had their own perception of the story. I would have doubted the validity of the story if it had been written like this: “so that God will be praised.” But on the contrary, they were building it to make a name for themselves. Imagine a mere mortal dragging food with God. Psalm 50:23, Heb 13v15,….

1. Your so-called opinion has nothing to do with what is stated or written in the book, though. It seems wholly drawn from the religious interpretations, not sourced directly from the text. undecided

2. Your idea, again, makes no sense considering what is written in the book. In Genesis 4/5, we read of Cain building a city, and there was no explicit permission given to him, nor did he do it "so that God will be praised". Yet, what happened to the Babelites did not come upon Cain. Clearly, your insinuations on this don't hold much weight. undecided

Imagine God dragging food with a mere mortal.

With verses in your head.

The tower of Babel is symbolic.

It is man trying to get to heaven by their own way.

And God showing you its not possible.

His way to heaven is Jesus Christ.

Trust Christ Alone and be forever secured by your creator
