You will see the real picture in the north because In the past, female education was not as common as it is now. If you come to any northern institution now you will be shocked at the population of girls. An average woman doesn't like polygamy. But here it's a reality. Even the girls have to accept it that it's impossible for every woman to be with one man. Even if the ratio four to one is implemented, there will still be more single ladies than men

This is true. It will be good for the north, if more females get education. Most will travel out of their location and it will reduce the plenty wives and making them dependent on men for survival. But, pardon me to ask this. Why are the men in the north now not taking education as serous as the females. I see them on Tik tok and most of the females speak, and act better than the men now.

I wont really relate the emergence of tiktokers from the north with disinterest in education. The issue is this: survival with a degree certificate is still not as widely recognised here as it is in the south. Most people pursuing education do so with the impression that it will help secure government jobs. Thats why you you don't see competitive education that produces flashy waec results, high jamb scores, first class or second class upper or anything. Just minimum effort is put into it and more efforts pursuing businesses especially Agriculture. Until the last few decades, people didn't really associate education with earning a means of livelihood as they recognised farming for instance. Agriculture employed and sustained men enough not to be stranded with degrees looking for 120k paying jobs. It's very difficult to see a hausa man looking for job in a bank as a teller for example. He will rather export zobo to Italy and make 3m naira once in six months. People really make money from farming and with that, education and certificates are not as enticing. Even going abroad is not a big dream till now.

The tiktok thing is just like cryptocurrency how most young people embraced it. People hear that online contents are monetised so even bandits are doing tiktok.

My ex was fond of insulting her aunties that were above 30. She kept saying they don't want to look for husband and marry. That she can't get to that age single.
So she dumped me for someone else that was doing better than me and he promised her marriage.
The guy ate and dumped her. She was shy to come back to me and tried a couple of guys but realised I was the best.
