Streetinvestor2:The youth and the unmarried are also the majority of Urhobo, Hausa Yoruba and etc in Lagos. Use high schools and primary schools for your research if you are going into it because people do go from other states to higher institutions outside the states they reside in. Most parents send their kids to nearby schools especially when it is primary school You can use expensive schools as well so far it is in Lagos |

From Israel to US to Nigeria to Iran. If you check, the initiators of the discuss are the same, then eventually, they drag other unwilling partners into the discuss. Nairaland has a very robust politics section, I wonder if they are not aware. Jaakay: |

Valthegreat:This argument is actually stale. The Yoruba went out of their way to vote LP in Lagos and they won by 9k votes and it was free and fair to folks like you but the same people voted APC for governorship but it was not free and fair by you. So it is clear elections can not be free and fair to you unless your candidate wins. Yes join the effort to break up Nigeria so that every group can develop on its own terms and at it's own pace while cooperating with others Why will anyone be afraid of Igbo population in Lagos when it is not concentrated enough anywhere to win anything? |

Streetinvestor2:Lol, the guy really likes that 55 million. First it's 55 million people, now it's 55 million in revenue from the old South West. 😂 |

lawani:I will never use sch as a business man.I know majority of what takes SE to lagos is never sch.I will say they even have better affordable schools in SE than lagos. So it is market arrangement I will use for the population. And that is why the market arrangement is always the place to attack to settle political scores against SE. It is either they are closing this market or bulldozing the structures in the market. |

Streetinvestor2:So you want to use a spare parts market? If you use an auto spare parts market in Ilesa you will come out with the position that Ilesa is ninety percent Igbo unless you go to the other spare parts market dominated by Ijesa traders |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 4:59pm On Jul 07 |
Streetinvestor2:No need to say much. If you start speaking Igbo to a random person in Lagos, you're more likely to get a response in Igbo than if you speak Yoruba to a random person anywhere in the South East or South South. That's a fact. ![]() |

Oasisblue:You see, if I talk now people would say I dislike the govt. On what basis or rationale do you carry out so-called ''reforms'' and not ensure they deliver the intended outcome or results? The macro-economic factors or fundamentals that affect the lives and living standards of the people (inflation, cost of living, interest rates, exchange rates, purchasing power, fuel cost, electricity tariff etc.) are not controlled by the State govts. These things are directly controlled by the FGN. Hence, the FG is duty-bound to carry out economic policies that will reflect positively in the lives of the people. This is because all the institutions and agencies that would implement these policies are under the sole direction and control of FGN. They are not under the State govts. The Central Bank controls inflation, exchange rate, purchasing power, interest rates etc.. The States don't have their individual central banks. Fuel cost is under NNPC or Ministry of Petroleum, controlled by FGN. The States don't have their own NNPC or Petroleum ministries. Power supply and tariff are under the PHCN/FGN. The States don't have their own PHCN, so cannot do much. Security apparatus is in the hands of FG. States can do virtually little or nothing. These are the things that are making people to suffer in this country, in abject poverty, hardship and insecurity! Which state govt advised the president to devalue the naira from N450 to N1400 or to tell us that ''subsidy is gone, whether you like it or not'' on May 29, 2023? Therefore, it is misleading, deceptive, nauseating, reckless and irresponsible for the FGN to want to shift blame to the States govts for problems that are either caused by or fall under the sole purview of the FGN. They are using PR and propaganda to deceive the people and many are falling for this useless and senseless argument! The state govts can only pay their workers and a few other things. But what about people who do not work under the States or FG ? This is not the first time we are having a FG in this country, but they are giving some silly excuses as if there had never been govts in this country before now or the people cannot think! |

CONHALLPLC › ConhallPLC July 11, 2026 Update Since our May 11 update, price action has played out largely as expected: wave (1) extended into the ~9 region before topping, confirming the impulsive structure we were tracking. Price has since pulled back into wave 2, and — just as flagged back in May — that retracement is landing squarely in our anticipated 50.0%–88.7% Fibonacci support zone (4.4–3. , the same area we'd marked out on the prior chart. With wave 2 now testing this zone, focus shifts to whether support holds here to complete the correction. A clean hold opens the door for wave (3) to begin its advance, with iii = 2.618 × i projecting a substantially higher target from current levels. A breakdown through the 5.8 floor would call the count into question and suggest a deeper retracement is still underway. aj8:Zenith: Wema 105:30 3.5:1 Pay close attention to Wema especially if the gap narrows further or else expect Zenith to sharply rise to 120 to maintain 4:1. Ratios were formulated from their annualized earnings and had been held substantially for months. The lower ratio could point to an improvement in Wema’s Q3 earnings relative to Zenith’s, narrowing the ratio; probably influenced by insider information. A ratio above 4:1 could point in favour of Zenith, maybe an interim dividend or further improvement in her earnings. |
