ositadima1:AI bubble? does it mean the expected breakthrough from AI that will also generate the massive profit is not coming any time soon? Moreover, how many more petrol dollars do the US need more to keep floating? They have the GCCs - Saudi, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain in their pockets, they have been stealing syria oils for years and finally added them, they now have Venezuela and so many other countries. Likewise Iraq. So how many more countries oil do they need to keep afloat? How many more countries do they need to bomb? Lybia oil is under their control too When will this greed stop? How many more countries needs to be bombed, colonized to be under their control just to keep their economy afloat? |

emmaodet:I don't know about Libya and Venezuela, but the GCC countries are in question. Remember that much of that oil is shipped through the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has vowed to control (collecting tolls for safe passage). Iraqi oil is not controlled by the U.S. In fact, just as the U.S. failed in Afghanistan, Iraq is a similar case. By defying the U.S., Iran is rapidly turning into a regional power. As we speak, U.S. bases in those countries are being attacked an destroyed, and the U.S. is losing its grip. Read between the lines. Regarding AI, it is costing the U.S. billions in funding and the day-to-day operation of AI data centers. Almost all of them are not generating enough revenue to cover huge costs. To make matters worse, China is producing AI models that are almost on par with the U.S.'s, available for free if you can run them yourself, or at a very low cost if you want to use them online. You know what that means, even less revenue. The question is not when a major breakthrough will happen; the question is sustainability. How long can investors keep pouring money into AI, hoping to earn returns someday? |

ositadima1:USA is never fighting for any survival till christ returns. I know you so want usa to fail but the truth remains it will never happen unless rapture happens.I don't know whether thr AI projects will succeed or not But I know for that country to fail means the whole world will crash and suffer more than usa for what ever reason. It is only iran that is fighting for survival since they choose terrorism..lol |

ositadima1:It is pure madness for Iran to insist that ships passing through the Strait must pass through their side so they can toll it. That is why they attacked the 3 ships passing through Oman's continental shelf. It is Trump's worry about oil price hike that has been the saving grace for Iran, and they are now using the opportunity to flex muscle to be seen as ''strong'' ond ''powerful''. Netanyahu is not like Trump that cares or worries about the price of crude oil. |

mikeapollo:There is no "other side" in the Strait of Hormuz. The waterway lies between the coasts of Iran and Oman. It is not an open sea; at its narrowest point, it is only about 12 km wide, if I remember correctly. The U.S., which is thousands of kilometers away, has no right to dictate what happens there. In the same way, the U.S. dictates what enters Cuba by sea. Why is it considered acceptable for the U.S. to control what passes through waters near Cuba? Do you know that Cuba has been under a U.S. blockade, yet you never come here to complain about it? Why? Dey play. |

ositadima1:Have you asked yourself why the 3 ships were attacked by Iran on Monday? Before US bombed them yesterday? The ships were attacked by Iran because they did not pass through the specific route that Iran demanded they must pass through, so they can toll them. The Strait is about 35km wide; wide enough to have different ''sides'' depending on how close a side is to the continental shelf of particular country. Iran is not the only country in that area and the Strait actually separates Iran from other neigbhouring countries (UAE, Oman). So there will always be ''other side''.. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 5:29pm On Jul 08 |
ositadima1:I am just wondering why usa/allies have not thought of expending that sea line. They could just reduce Iran as a country to very large sea routes with no land mass but only water bodies..lol.The people thr will just relocate to other countries. and case closed I like to think impossible possible sometimes to create peace |

mikeapollo:Ok, 35 km. Thanks. Now, the ships were attacked because Iran made it very clear that every ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz must do so on Iran's terms, which, the U.S. acknowledged in the 12-point ceasefire agreement. Before the U.S. and Israel jointly decided to attack Iran in the middle of nuclear talks, the Strait of Hormuz was open to free navigation. Iran clearly stated that it did not have nuclear weapons but insisted on continuing its nuclear program for civilian purposes. But, the U.S. and Israel attacked. Their position was that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons, even while negotiations were still ongoing. In retaliation for the attacks and heavy bombing, Iran decided to assert control over the Strait of Hormuz and threaten to close it. After all, the U.S. has sanctioned Iranian crude oil for more than 30 years. I don't see how Iran is wrong here. In the same situation, you would probably have done the same. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 6:11pm On Jul 08 |
I usually avoid commenting on issues like this because I know many people won't understand the layers involved. The Iran-America confrontation is far more complex than the headlines suggest. Beneath the military exchanges and public statements lies a deeper struggle for geopolitical influence, economic dominance, strategic alliances and control of key resources. Religion, ideology, and security concerns are certainly part of the conversation but they also serve as powerful tools through which nations mobilize support, justify policies and pursue broader NATIONAL INTERESTS. International politics is rarely driven by a SINGLE FACTOR. Most global conflicts are shaped by a combination of ECONOMICS, POWER, diplomacy, history and security calculations. If we only view such events through one lens, we risk missing the bigger picture. It is always wise to look beyond the headlines, study history and understand the COMPETING INTERESTS at play before arriving at FIRM CONCLUSIONS. © MEGAWEALTH01 |

emmaBS:Would any country accept being attacked at will? The same countries that possess nuclear weapons attacked Iran when Iran did not even have them. Would Nigeria accept the same treatment from Ghana? Be honest with yourself. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:19pm On Jul 08 |
emmaBS:My friend, the U.S. does not act out of pity. I have never seen a situation where the U.S. acted out of pity. If they attack you, it is clear they have an objective they want to achieve. The U.S. has tried to subdue Iran during the three-month war, but it couldn't achieve its objective. The only option left would be to use nuclear weapons against Iran and wipe them out. If they did that, the consequences for the U.S. would be enormous. So, my friend, it is not out of pity. They simply cannot bend Iran to their will without doing the very thing they accuse Iran of wanting to do. It is that simple. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:26pm On Jul 08 |
Streetinvestor2:The U.S. has tried, but it is not possible without committing war crimes. They bombed Iran for three months, yet achieved nothing. More bombing will not change anything. Let the U.S. send in ground troops, I want to check something. Again, the U.S.'s allies know the war is unjust, which is why no one is joining in. Do you think other countries are not affected by this? The U.S. attacked another country while negotiations were still ongoing, without a valid reason, simply because Iran should not develop nuclear weapons, even though Iran does not have any. |

Baby Trump is not having pity on Iran, but he’s rather just learning why other reasonable U.S. Presidents didn’t attack Iran over the past 40 years. He’s simply delusional and doesn’t have foresight. This is “The Fart of the Deal” playing out real time. emmaBS: |

Streetinvestor2:Let me explain. I never said the U.S. will disintegrate or collapse. What I said is that it will lose its superpower status. In the same way that Britain was once the world's superpower, with colonies all over the world, but is now just an average country, the same could happen to the U.S. if care is not taken. |
