He is NOT a typical American. The typical American leaders all came together to honor one of their own, Barack Obama, when he opened his Presidential Library recently. Ex-presidents across party lines. tRUMP is an aberration the US will regret for decades to come.

Obama is the worst thing to happen as American president and Africa. For his stupid and anti christ life.It will be difficult for American to ever have African American president in future. I am so pleased trump was never part of the occasion. He contributed largely to the problem nigeria is facing today by giving us apc/Buhari government. He can go to hell for all I care as terrorist enabler
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 9:22am On Jul 10
Well. previous US leaders obviously disagree with you. Clinton, Carter(When he was alive). The Bush and the Obamas are specially close!

Just typical of people like you to refer to a man under whose presidency the American economy surged, a man dutifully married to one woman without any scandals, as 'anti-Christ' while elevating a lying, narcissist, and serial adulterer, who is furthering the racial supremacy agenda as 'God-sent' just out of political croynism and illiteracy. The black man truly has a long way to go. Because of Obama it would be hard for another black person to be president, yet Kamala Harris, a black woman grossed >75 million votes(48.1% of votes count).

When I read from you guys, I am more convinced any candidate you back must never be allowed anywehere near power in Nigeria.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 9:24am On Jul 10
I am not sure what he is referring to. This is the shareholding structure
orriyomi33:
Good morning @Sunrisepebble.

I saw this headline about a lawmaker expressing his concerns on the undisclosed owners of 66% equity in HBM NIGERIA PLC (Formerly Lafarge Africa PLC). Should this be a concern?

Ningi observed that while the report indicated that Nigerian interests, including the Federal Government and local investors, held about 16 per cent equity in Lafarge Africa and Holcim owned about 18 per cent, it failed to explain who controls the remaining 66 per cent of the company’s shares.

He argued that without a clear picture of the ownership structure, lawmakers could not fully assess the implications of approving the transaction.

[b]“I would have imagined that the report of the committee should specifically give us the shareholding structure. Nigerians have about 16 per cent, Lafarge has 18 per cent. Who owns the remaining 66 per cent? We need to understand where we are coming from.
“It is only when we know who owns the remaining shares that we can determine whether Nigerians are actually benefiting from this transaction,” Ningi said.

The lawmaker also dismissed claims that the transaction involved the sale of a strategic Nigerian asset, maintaining that available information suggested it was merely a transfer of ownership from one foreign company to another.

“There is a misconception about the ownership of Lafarge. The current development is basically the transfer from one foreign ownership to another. Lafarge is a foreign company transferring its shares to another foreign company.

“I would have expected the committee to point us to the specific provisions of Nigerian law that permit such a transfer and to clearly state the ownership structure before asking us to approve the transaction,” he added.

You don give up on Wale bayi?
grin
I never give up on him yet, but I cannot ask anyone to tie down his/her investment in Oando for too long if he/she cannot go the long haul or does not fully appreciate the intricacies of the company and industry.
Wale will deliver when the company fully recovers. Recall gave bonuses and dividends of N3 etc. when Oando was making profits 2007-2011

A ''typical American'' in this context means a typical Republican e.g. Raegan and Bush., They do not have patience when they want to crush an enemy or terrorists.
Barak Obama is a Democrat. How many times have Democrats ruled America, compared to Republicans? The answer should tell you who is ''typical American''

The thing with Trump is talking and talking!
Raegan and Bush would not talk much, but go ahead and get the job done, once and for all.!
But Trump talks a lot and is not stable or consistent in his comments. He says too many things before he attacks, and sometimes reveals secrets e.g. when he wanted to bomb the power plants and bridges in Iran before Iran sent women and children to form human shields around the power installations.
Trump is a ''deal'' man. Once you agree and sign to his demands, he would not attack you.

The only thing Africa benefited from Obama as someone connected to the region was supporting terrorism and trying to imposed guy ideology to our people.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yok: 10:00am On Jul 10
WHAT WILL THE MARKET DO TODAY!!!
The strong bullish trend will likely continue today and will likely continue by next week Monday.

Sometimes predicting what the market will do is difficult. Initially things were looking bad, suddenly some positive news are showing up.

The funny aspect is that money is flowing into the market despite the not so good fundamentals!!!

We should enjoy the rally for now.

The fight is affecting crude oil price which also affects Nigeria's economy, NGX and global economics
Some people here are ''professors'' and ''lecturers'' with sound knowledge in these things.

Wrong assumption. You dont know me. I have consistently supported Omoyele Sowore for Nigeria and the politics of Bernie Saunders for the US, but of course, people like you wont allow these vibrant revolutonaries to get to power.
