It's a cultural thing, it's an African thing. Being financially buoyant may get you respect in Africa, not necessarily bcoz you're loved, but bcoz you're seen as a benefactor.

We can tie such scenario to inequality in the African space.

Make money for yourself,not because you wanna cater for the needs of women. Money is Very important in a man's life. Have money and have wisdom,then you are good to go.
