megawealth01:False. The Chief of Defence Staff Lt. Gen Oluyede ably deployed and strategically planned the ops of the armed forces on behalf of the indefatigable President Bola Tinubu GCFR. Any other claim is treasonable felony. Long live Nigeria Long live President Bola Tinubu GCFR!

searchng4love:Why do we sometimes see things always from narrow ethnic or political lenses? It will not help our country to develop! The CDS may authorise the deployment of troops but he would not be the person to physically lead the actual operation on the ground because he has other junior officers to do that. Both the Major Gen (earlier mentioned) and the CDS are part of the Nigerian Army, and the president is the Commander in Chief for all of them! So what is the sense in denying the Major General and giving the credit or glory to Lt Gen Oluyede and Tinubu alone? The troops that went into the bush to rescue the girls may even have some soldiers who are non-Yoruba.. We must purge our minds of some these things before this ciuntry can make meaningful progress.! Not every comment must be seen as political |

searchng4love:You see again? How do you know or assume my "tribesmen" when you dont know me personally? I am a Nigerian. I just refuse to discuss or debate based on tribe or ethnicity. I discuss Governance issues. I criticised OBJ, Jonathan and Buhari! And I will criticise anybody else including Obi and Atiku if they mess up or do not do the right thing if they become president! None of them feeds me and my happiness or joy is not tied to whether they become president or not . Same for Tinubu too! |

The rescue of the Oyo students and teachers clearly cut you to the bone marrow. While your partners in crime have finally mastered their emotions and are now pretending to be happy—speaking with measured tones and bogus grammar to mask their pain—you, as you’ve admitted, do not pretend. Their release is your sadness. Unfortunately for you, there’s a series of good news lined up, all aimed at pushing you exactly where you belong. Now, back to your drug baron accusations. I know it’s in your DNA to mix things up. The person accused of being a drug baron is the "Lamba King," who used favoritism to escape a fine for parking in a no-parking zone at the airport, only to go on air and lie that he was being targeted. By now, you must know that Peter Obi was also accused of drug-related activities while his peers were studying in university. The details can be found here: https://www.nairaland.com/7834708/saint-peter-obi-unfurling-drug There are also claims that Obi’s father died as a result of an attack by a rival gang—possibly Obi’s own rival gang. https://www.nairaland.com/7325557/how-obis-father-died I wonder if you yourself aren’t a courier—I wouldn’t put it past foot soldiers like you. It will take the grace of God for you to be released again the next time you are arrested. I know you know what I am talking about. Streetinvestor2: |

Nigerians and suffering have become inseparable. We politicize and celebrate everything. When power is restored after an outage, people start jubilating, even though it may not last more than four hours. When children and their teachers are kidnapped and later released, we celebrate, even though it will likely happen again. We keep celebrating things that should never have happened in the first place. Incompetence is accepted and defended. What a shame. Meanwhile, the few who lead are living their best lives, while the poor and the brutalized are trapped in hellish conditions, arguing and fighting over meaningless pittance. Such is life. ![]() |

To burst the bubble of tribal hypocrites: This govt is clueless, nepotistic and corrupt!. This is a statement of fact, not a tribal or ethnic comment. There are all Nigerian tribes in this govt! Tbis is not to give any undue credit to Obi or Atiku. I cannot assess anyone who has not been given the opportunity to rule as president.. I can only assess the one I know as president. Even Obi and Atiku may be worse or better, no one is sure for now . They have to prove themselves For now, it is Gbaja-Gate all the way! We now have ghost agencies in govt which appears in approved national budgets! Incredible! |

LOL... They’re slowly crawling out of their holes, spewing bogus grammar that makes no sense—just a desperate attempt to mask their pain. To say this rescue pained them to the bone is putting it mildly. They know that if this government fixes insecurity, they’ll have nothing left to campaign on. They can’t use infrastructure, they can’t use multiple exchange rates, and they can’t use fuel queues. So, their last straw is to cling to insecurity as a way to push their failed product. All this time they kept reminding us about people in captivity; they never actually cared. They’d rather those people remain in captivity—just so they could keep using their suffering as a political tool. The report of the release was on Friday night, Sunday evening, they still cannot spleep. Last last, Nigeria will win. |
