'If Iran feels they can fight let them attack the US directly'

What a very juvenile argument grin

Should I also say if the US feels they can fight let them send footsoldiers to Iran. We all know that is the definitve way of defeating the regime. So, why arent troops on their way?

Is Israel fighting with Lebanon, or with Hezbollah? Of what relevance is an agreement with a lame-duck Lebanese government that could not even maintain a military strong enough to kick out the shia milita or stop the IOF from destroying their country? Attacking those countries you mentioned is a strategy of war as they host their enemy's military basis, which are used to attack them. The homurtz and the sitting duck military bases are their own strategic edge in this conflict and if I were them I would leverage it too.
Stop arguing against yourself!
If Israel was fighting Hezbollah, then why was Iran shouting hypocritically about ''Lebanon''? Why did Iran not mention that they were seeking protection for Hezbollah instead of mentioning ''Lebanon'' to deceive the world? You see the hypcorisy?

US is fighting Iran directly, that is why they are bombing Iran and installations inside Iran! Let Iran also shoot its missiles directly at US and hit installations inside US e.g. in New York, Chicago, New Jersey, Washington etc. That is what I mean by saying they should fight US directly. They can also attack the US warship in the ocean. It is stupid cowardice for Iran to attack peaceful UAE, S. Arabia/Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait etc. whenever US attacks it!
In case you have forgotten, there are 3 arms of the military: the Naval, Airforce, and Army;
In international wars where the warring countries do not share land borders, air-borne weapons e.g. missiles, drones, warplanes are the main instruments used to prosecute such wars.
The Army (ground forces) are used mostly where the countries share land borders e.g. Russia and Ukraine; Iran vs Iraq etc

**WHAT WILL THE MARKET DO TODAY!!**
Market today us a 50/50 chance for both bulls and bears. Looking at the market ordinarily, on the surface we would think market is bearish. However, big money is still buying.

Money inflow to the market is gradually swinging to the positive side, but still low (SELECTIVE INFLOW). Probability of money flowing to the market this week looks reasonable.

So, the market will still stay bullish!!!

Sometimes you look at the fundamentals and you are wondering, can this be true!!! But, fundamentals cares for nobody whether you believe or not. The instruction is "just do it,". Do what the fundamentals says and you will see the good result sooner :Dor latter

So someone involved in drug pushing was feeling rather generous, and just miraculously deposited $500k ($1.2 million in today's currency) into his account without his knowledge or consent?

Why do I never get this damn lucky? Scammers are always trying to steal my money, not dash me cold cash. grin

lawani:
President Tinubu have identity issues not drug issues. He was not convicted in the US for drug running. You can not be convicted just for money that entered your account. You yourself must have had your bank account used by another person a few times and you can't be sure of the true origin of the funds.

So somebody depositing drug money in your account once or twice means you are a drug baron even when you have a visible means of livelihood? He was not convicted because the judges know what they are doing. They are not kids

If you are receiving such monies regularly while you are covering up with a job then you are guilty of money laundering and not of the crime that is the source of the money which you may not be aware of

I go choose Trump if jagaban is the option
Oasisblue:
Lol. All these Nigerian wannabe Israelis amuse me. What happens in the US doesnt concern you but you spend your time here defending tRUMP. The same man that ran on 'No more ways' is now attackign countries across continents and it is okay to you.

By the way, Tinubu is doing mostly waht he promised: fuel susbsidy removed, Naira now on a managed float, etc. It is weird to criticize Tinubu while defending tRUMP. Compared to tRUMP, Tinubu is Mother Theresa!
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 10:29am On Jul 14
Bring your own analogy biko. If there is ever any criminal drug-related conviction for the Niegrian president, kindly show us. You think the US takes drug crimes lightly and Tinubu will be walking free after so many years if indeed there is such criminal case against him? How many sitting or former heads of countries have the US captured, tried and jailed for their roles in drugs trafficking?

Dey play!

There's generally a 5-year statute of limitations for most nonviolent drug offenses. That means the US government can no longer pursue you for an offense committed in the 1990s. Allegedly.

Come on, people. I respect people's personal political choices, but some of these arguments/excuses for certain candidates are so asinine they boggle the mind. The other day, someone was arguing that the no-bid multi-billion dollar coastal highway contract was patriotic and kosher.

To set the record straight, when someone was attacking mankind for attaining one billion portfolio the street mu$mu was all over here supporting mankind but because mankind is not on the same page with him today on politics he turned back and said mankind claimed was fraud. Where is the integrity

What I can understand from his attitude is, is either he is unstable or lack complete integrity. He is to tell us which of the two.

You are wrong. I am not defending anyone. I am not even a fan of the president or his brand of politics, but constantly alleging things without prove harms us all when the person in question occupies Aso Rock. Even if it is true, common sense warrants that we dont continually go online to say that about the number 1 citizen as the blowback is on all of us. I am not a fan of Obi, but would never openly abuse him everywhere online if he wins the election next year. For example, in the current fight against SA all their online abuse focused on the sh#t fellow Nigerians routinely peddle online.

It annoys me more when the people peddling these idolize leaders with worse past and ongoing records in other climes.

Don't worry yourself, abeg
Some people would not even try and do some little research before they talk very loudly about a matter.
There are certified US court documents that show that someone forfeited about 460,000 dollars to aUS court in a drug trafficking and money-laundering related case as far back as 1993.
These documents were all tendered in Court!
And someone is here talking what?

Last comment on this. It's not just a mere allegation; the man forfeited $1.2 million (in today's currency) when investigated for a drug-related offense. If you had clean hands and worked for that money, or legit got it, would you forfeit it?

One state fined me $100 for a traffic offense I thought I didn't commit. If you see how I harassed them eh? Honest people don't forfeit $1.2 million. It is what it is.

A Deep Lesson but many of you will argue it:
The most successful entrepreneurs in Nigeria come from the South West and North West.
If you use the market value of the shares owned in publicly traded companies on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) or international stock markets and exact networth of wealthy individuals from the regions then:
North West comes first - Dangote and Abdul Rabiu.
South West comes second - Adenuga and Otedola.
South South comes third - Tony Elumelu (Delta State) , Jim Ovia (Delta State) and late Herbert Wigwe (Rivers State).
And South East comes last - Ibeto, Innoson, Cosmas Arthur Eze - all from Anambra State.

Here is the secret: The South West builds with STRUCTURE.
The North West builds with Network.
The South South builds Financial Systems that power everyone else.
The South East is the most informal market - less structure, more hustle. But they have more millionaires than every other region. They do not have billionaires because billionaire status is built with structure , partnerships and not individual hustle.

Take a look at the most successful fintech companies - they are mostly South West controlled. That’s structure. And you should learn from it instead of arguing it.

Nations or zones in Nigeria just as in anywhere are successful according to population, urban agglomeration which is an indication of organization and HDI.
In population the SE is the least and it is around one third of the SW or the NW. In urbanization it might be second to the last ahead of maybe only the NE and in HDI it is number one as a zone but below Lagos or Ogun state as stand alones

So how did he count millionaires to say the SE is leading? Is it people with one million dollars of which half of them are in Lagos or he counted people that own their own homes of which the majority will be in the North as they buy more cement? I wonder what he used to arrive at his conclusion?

If the SE had the population then they would stand a better chance of pulling more weight
