Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 12:49pm On Jul 29
With the 3.7 factor oversubscription, they definitely didn't get their fill so we will battle it out on the IPO floor grin

mikeapollo:
I think this particular PP is more like Alhaji allowing his friends to be allotted the full units they want to buy, instead of applying via IPO and not getting full allotment due to oversubscription.
The company had already been fully established, operating; so the PP investors are not taking any special or higher risks than retail investors who will be buying the same shares via IPO just about 3-4 months afterwards.

Dont get excited. Nigerians are not the only one buying into the IPO.
Many will have their monies returned and they will return to the market they left, that is if your calculation is right.
I dey kampe with my Access. I will not sell to buy DRP.

Mpeace:
The market will soon enter the red region. People will start selling to set aside funds for the ipo

That EDU guy has been very scarce here since Access did a no-show for dividend this year.
His Access is becoming more popular and controversial at the same time.

Hope he is fine though.

Leadway has been around for more than 60 years. Since they have not listed all this time it must be a strong policy of their's to remain private.
