I used to pride myself as a contrarian but Oando has changed that seemingly wrong perspective today. I acquired in the morning and I sell in the afternoon 😀😀😀 megamart247: |

Streetinvestor2:You're right that sugary soft drinks also contribute to health problems like obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay, and many countries have introduced sugar taxes for that reason. There has been an effort to introduce it Nigeria also. Even if many people drink responsibly, alcohol as a whole is associated with liver disease, certain cancers, accidents, violence, and other health and social costs. Research has shown that no level of alcohol consumption is healthy. The tax is aimed at those aggregate costs, not at claiming every drinker is unhealthy. |

Irrespective of results, though, the market remains poor. August may just go the way of June. ![]() |

I read that if otedola acquires 30% of first bank shares, he can make an offer to buy out shareholders. Is that the plan? He's now at 25% |

thebargainhunte:What is this again ? Other companies in this sector viz : Seplat, Aradel, Conoil, Total and even Eterna posted better results. What is really happening with Oando ? |

Otedollar and first bank is a classical example of follow the money 💰. when a dollar billionaires enters a stock and start accumulating there is no way the share price won't skyrocket. Whether it is sustainable is another ball game but this is for sharp traders to make easy money. First Bank will surely top all banking stock in Nigeria sooner than later. From 35 to 130 in one year. The good news is that it will drag my darling Zenith as it flies. |

Jaakay:You can deduce that from their cash flows statement as PPE Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) in Mining..which can still be in progress and mind you that was in Q1 ...and they promised Q3 purchasing property, plant, and equipment (PPE) and funding Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) for mining means investing cash to build, acquire, and install custom-made heavy machinery, processing plants, and site infrastructure needed to extract and process solid minerals like gold |

SonofElElyonRet:There is only one solution. If you can'tbeat them you join them. I guess i have no other choice but to gradually start buying FBNH gradually. Today is gone already, I will have to start buying in tranches as from August. The daily volume and price appreciation is crazy. Something is really cooking. Just have to be part of it. ![]() |

jonnysessy:Too much money entering the stock at the same time , if this continues it will touch 150 soon. Once the whales leave the market it will crash back unless they offer fantastic dividend to sustain it which the dividend policy is already pointing to. ![]() |
