ghm:Let's read MAN's reports on factories that have closed down. We'll will learn better. For instance, if we know the number of students who dropped out or lost admissions to foreign universities because of steep exchange rate devaluation, we would be sober on this issue. It is not easy. On Fuel, people in the cities may not even suffer the effect as much people in the village.. But God dey. He is our strength |

First HoldCo, Nigeria’s most valuable financial institution with a N6.09 trillion market capitalisation, is seeking to raise N1.4 trillion ($1 billion) through a share sale after securing permission from the Central Bank of Nigeria. The offering, which consists of a 10.4 billion share block, officially opened to buyers on Monday. According to Olusegun Alebiosu, the bank’s chief executive officer, the market response has already been overwhelming.

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 2:12pm On Aug 04 |
The biggest issue remains high financing costs. If Oando can reduce debt, refinance at lower rates or continue growing operating profit faster than finance costs, its earnings could improve significantly. Among all the concerns, finance costs and debt are the most important because they are currently the main factors preventing the company's improved operating performance from translating into stronger pre-tax profits. Streetinvestor2:Thanks. I understand manufacturing can be pretty difficult, especially in the era of forex harmonisation and electricity costs. I am into a couple of businesses. It was very difficult initially, but everything has normalised. Let me give two examples. Rental Real Estate – unlike in 2023/24, the revenue from rentals has now moved and stabilised. As a result, there is now a clear profit after expenses and maintenance. Equipment/Vehicle Logistics – while equipment maintenance expenses quadrupled in 2023, leading to losses, demand and pricing have since adjusted upward. Since 2024, we have been running a surplus, with demand continuing to increase. |

deathwing:AVA CAPITAL is in same league/business with UCAP..... If well managed, it will do well in the medium to long term (which is well managed so far from the result released). * All things being equal, AVA is good for medium to long term. * The low Free Float will likely be in its favour anytime market turns bullish........ 4bn is in the custody of substantial shareholders while 1bn is for others......which includes brokers, net worth individuals and tashere holders like us. 😁 Abeg Carry out your Due Diligence o. |

JapaulGold Update Today's massive volume was expected following the strong Q2 results. The focus is no longer on the volume itself but on what comes after it. With over 900 million shares exchanged around the ₦3.00 level, the market appears to be transferring shares from short-term profit-takers to stronger, long-term investors. The next phase to watch is simple: • ₦3.00 holds as strong support. • Selling pressure gradually dries up. • Buyers take control. • The stock consolidates. • A breakout above ₦3.15 could trigger the next upward move. Remember, in the stock market, volume usually comes before price. If JapaulGold closes firmly above ₦3.00 after this exceptional volume, it may be laying the foundation for its next rally. Patience. The heavy exchange of shares is only the beginning. The next chapter is price discovery. |

Hedgefunds:How boss? Overvalued to be listed @7.50? Kindly enlighten us sir. *IMO, I think the analysts are still short of enough data to properly analyze its worth for now...... *So it's understandable if they couldn't establish it's fair value for now.....but let's see how far the stock fairs in the short to long run.... * Me o, in my amateurish view, I'm expecting it around 15 in the short to medium term.....and when market turns bullish....😁 * Also remember that the issuing house/brokers concerned also matters. * Caveat: Not any form of buy/sell advice...DD Applies* |
