First son are facing real hell mostly if the family members are not united. The real jealousy from siblings is alarming some of the siblings just cross there leg's waiting for the first son to do the magic. Any family that all the siblings work hand to hand with the first son will always do incredible things. I'm so unfortunate to have a siblings that doesn't match my voltage. Lazy dull sibling full of hate and jealousy
We are not talking first sons (which can be second born). We are talking FIRST BORNS (male or female)

Dear firstborns, I admire your courage and selflessness when it comes to taking care of your family. You think of your parents and siblings before yourselves, which to me is a genuine sacrifice.

But I'm begging you all for God's sake, don't kill yourself trying to carry responsibility that doesn't belong to you. Take care of your parents and younger siblings but not to your own detriment.

YOU ARE THE FIRST CHILD; YOU ARE NOT A CRIMINAL SERVING A SENTENCE OR FORCED TO PAY BACK ANYTHING!

Make una dey try enjoy una sweat too.

A firstborn will drop out of school by age 18 to start hustling to support the family. The lastborn is now 25 and he is still calling you for airtime every now and then. But because of your genuine love, you keep sending to them instead of encouraging them to be like you and go and hustle.

I know it's genuine love o, but sometimes ehn, you firstborn don't know how to put yourselves first.

IT IS SOMEONE THAT IS ALIVE THAT CAN BE FIRST BORN O. ALL THE FIRST BORN IN THE HOUSE, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES TOO. UNA DON TRY!
Thanks. But easier said than done. It comes at such an angle you can't say no

Not "Most" please.

First and only son here in a family of 5 siblings. Let's just say, after God the most important thing in my life is my Family in terms of care, and providing for their needs as I can.
Are you FIRST BORN?

Taah
Abeg make una shift one side
It all depends on the type of family the person comes out from.
In my family, am the last child but am doing almost everything the first son is ought to do.
First child Wahala is not applicable in every family

The 1st born thing sef is relative.

Some are first son/ daughter but 2nd child... Speaking up for 2nd Borns too.

Many 2nd Borns have taken positions like 1st Borns eg due to death of first born, absence / busy types. Family now rely on 2nd Borns not only for finances but in decision making( family), ensuring that they are involved.

First Borns and even 2nd Borns always need prayers. If there are 6 children, you won't entirely call the 2nd, middle children even if they still get treated as such too.

Some families favored the first and youngest majorly while the middle ones ( including the 2nd they take too as first) receive less care.

The youngest serve the most in some family and pampered the most too. They could face some neglect too if parents were retired or retrenched on time.

First sons are the real heroes in the family but they are uncelebrated. Money is not everything don’t be deceived. There’s a covering every first sons brings . most especially when the parents are no more. He takes the position of a father. Always respect every first son in your family just the same way you honor your pastor this is a secret and blessing will follow you.
To every first son struggling out there. You will need to set up an alter unto Jesus . That’s the only way you can defend your siblings if you have become their father.

As first son do not marry anyhow. Look for virtuous first daughters for marriage that understands the unique burden of leadership you carry. God will hold first sons accountable on how they managed their siblings (‘works’)

Most first sons are always constant spiritual attacks . And that’s why they need Jesus

One spiritual bullet / attack can make thier life messy. If not repelled back in prayer. Please let’s learn to show them love and not hate

That’s they are broke is as a means of not being money driven. Please support them financially.
If they are money driven it will pose a risk to the family/ siblings

They put their siblings first before themselves

Theres so much to say but . Let me stop here .

This would’ve been a better post if tailored to address a problem or advise first borns or anyone that take family responsibilities, and not victimize them. True first-borns are strong and patient. They don’t expect anything in return for what they do.

Are you going to create an association and seek for govt. grant or what? 😀

First-born here! I’m proud and grateful to be one!!

Some of this last born, middle born and whatever they are do not know that the first born is like a shield to them.
Whatever generational wahala do most atimes attacks the first born leaving their siblings free and when they makes it in live they felt it's their doing. despite that they can't stomach what the poor and lazy first born as they do call them is passing through.
THE GENERARTIONAL WAHALA IS WHAT AFFECT FIRST BORNS THE MOST

PuZZyNegro:
This excuse is lame sincerely. This is what most people whose father is the first son always give as an excuse why their father is poor because their grandparents used the family money to train the younger ones in school who later abandoned their father and his children.

Even schooling up to masters level did not make me any richer than our second son who never finished SS3.

First sons are mostly irresponsible, QED. It's only when sharing the father's properties that they know that they are first sons.
I DISAGREE WITH YOU,THEY ARE NOT MOSTLY IRRESPONSIBLE, THE GENERARTIONAL WAHALA THAT FOLLOWS SOME FIRST SONS IS TERRIBLE I AM TELLING YOU THIS FROM EXPERIENCE BECAUSE THE KIND PRAYER AND FASTING THAT I DO BEFORE I BECAME FREE FROM THIE GENERATIONAL WAHALA NO BE SMALL
