I'm currently not planning to buy. I think Aradel and Seplat is enough for me at the moment. We look towards the fertiliser listing next year.

Now the price is set. I no need too much units, 20k done do me.

525naira per unit.
20,000 units × N525 = N10,500,000

That is 10.5 million naira you are talking about here and you say you don't need too much. You tried very well if you can afford that in this Tinubu economy. I wish I could afford that, except I will have to sell-off some blue chips stocks in my portfolio.

But, i won't do that ( can't get rid of the known for the unknown).

grin
I will buy at least 1k units. Hoping that when it is listed it will fall and i can pick more units.

Get your money ready to pack shares its about to go down. cool 525 could become 2000 in 2yrs.

Aradel @ 1500
Dangote refinery @ 525 grin what are you seeing
cool

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote said that the long-anticipated initial public offering (IPO) for the continent's largest oil facility—the Dangote Refinery will open on September 14.

The stock will be offered at N525 per share, he said on a recent television show. Dangote Refinery aims to raise approximately $5 billion from the blockbuster offering on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), before a planned London Stock Exchange secondary listing in three years time...
if this is how you measure valuation with a straight line, dem go job you in the stocks market easily.

Why did Aradel not go to N10,000 since Seplat is now selling intra day around N14,800.

You need to wait for the prospectus to be out. You will know the total number of outstanding shares. Do your due diligence with their reported financial reports and then take your decision after seeing their income statement, Balance sheet and cash flow.

It may shock you that the N525 is expensive

A gambler's viewpoint.

That ACCESSCORP held at 30 is a major positive.

But what do I know....one who celebrates 2 Naira dividends from a 2k share ....

If we compare the N525 to prices of other stocks like DanCem, Aradel, Seplat etc, you realize that the IPO price is not too high.
So interesting that I would have benefit of feedback from Oando AGM to know what to do with my units.....either keep all, offload some or everything to buy the IPO.
Anyhow, anyhow, 'ororo'' still dey there! From ''oil and gas'' to ''oil and gas''

Theoretically, you are spot on.

But the refinery enjoys some industry monopoly and leverage (free trade zone, less taxes etc.) which Seplat and Aradel do not have.
If Alhaji pays dividends in USD for the FY2026, then the price will go higher in 2027.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by londonerr:
A lower share price tag, such as Dangote’s expected ₦525 entry point compared to Aradel’s ₦1,450 market price, often creates an illusion of cheapness. However, the individual share price is simply an arbitrary fraction determined by how many pieces a company chooses to divide its total equity into. Dangote created a structure with roughly 120 billion total shares, whereas Aradel operates with only around 4.3 billion....

When you evaluate total business value, the dynamic reverses entirely. Dangote’s listing targets an aggregate enterprise valuation near ₦63 trillion ($40 billion+), while Aradel’s total market capitalization sits around ₦6.3 trillion ($4.8 billion). Consequently, buying into Dangote requires paying a significant premium for a massive, heavily capitalized downstream single asset, whereas Aradel trades at a far more modest valuation multiple as a low-debt, cash-generative upstream producer.

Summarily.... Aradel is cheaper.
You pay roughly ₦8.70 for every ₦1 of profit Aradel makes. For Dangote, you pay over double that per Naira of earnings....

You guys are not looking in the right direction at all !!! At this point your attention should be on the silent hero that no one is paying any attention to. ...the hero is FCMB !!!

FCMB is certainly going to end their 2026 year with a 224% YoY profit !! Does that not amaze you ? They made N73,000,000 Bn in 2024, made N177,000,000 Bn in 2025 (242% YoY) and now their revenue forecast shows N400,700,000 Bn (224% YoY) for 2026 !!! That is massive !!! And more too that the stock price is still at N11.90. It rose from 11.10 this week to 11.95 just because of this and I am sure it will finish next week at N15.00. I am really sure of that. I foresee it catching up with Fidelity at N20.00 before December 2026. I intend to add more units to what I already have on Monday, latest Tuesday. I have a feeling they will pay a dividend of not less that N5.00 this year.

For me, I am no longer looking in the direction of the FUGAZ. FCMB is now my own FUGAZ... LOL. If you have ears, hear ooo !!!!!!
