I think Total registered shares is the AUTHORISED shares, NOT necessarily ISSUED shares
Dividends, EPS etc eill be on IISSUED shares, NOT on the Toral Rehistered (Authorised) shares .

I may be wrong though.
You think dem go register 120B share with no plans of issuing at least 110B. I even think they will issue everything Lol

Those who bought private placement can't sell until a number of years . Alhaji himself who has 90% not likely to sell.. you still think price will tank upon listing? With all the hype? With all the sentiment? The east African refinery will come under same dangote refinery plc right? Remember part of the money raised will go towards building the east African refinery if I'm not mistaken (i stand to be corrected). Sometimes it's not about dividend payout. Even companies wey dey declare loss dey appreciate in price.. let me know what you think.. una wan scare me into not buying... Make I no quick fall for "Dangote refinery don cast" campaign. Many people wey dey bash am go still go behind go buy some quantities. Na una way (I name no names grin).. I'm open to better arguments against the motion that dangote refinery will depreciate upon listing. Investors likely to laugh last.

Ahh see this man. Which East African refinery. You really think Dangote will carry you along in his prosperity? grin

East African refinery is totally Dangote's private venture and has no link with Nigeria's refinery. The IPO is to fund the expansion from 650 to 1400 capacity per day and the listing sef is to help Dangote's position on the FORBES list. No think am too far. Like I said before, I am almost sure that some stock split has happened before the public IPO

That is not to say the IPO isn't a good buy. Personally, I don't do IPO. Apart from fear of overvaluation, I may not get 20% of my subscription and my money would be tied down and returned after wasting precious time.

You are even going far with 40 to 50 naira. Only 10 naira dividend is already amounting to over 1.2 trillion.

Streetinvestor2:
Based on my own search the os for what to be listed now is 124.23 billion OS
That is what will be used to determine any eps.So I was wondering if the Refinery can generate btw 5 -6 trillion pat soon if one is looking at 40 - 50 dividend.

Oga barrister .I didn't say anyone should not participate in the ipo.i may decide to buy alhaji refinery in the future but not the ipo.Thr is no time that is late to buy any share as an investor. Is it not now some people are buy saplet. I remember when it was #600 .I no go talk about it again self.I remember my position on transcorp power ipo too.
I don't see allocation of more than 10 k units to anyone and u money returned.Watin come be the big deal self. It happened to me in sugar then when I applied for 20k units and got only 3k plus units and my money returned No be Dangote Refinery go make me my own dollar billion..lol.
Make una no vex make I face my onado shares that I will continue to accumulate.

Make una just tell alhaji to drop price of fuel to what it should be after his cost and little profit magin as done in other countries. He should stop exploiting Nigerians in price. He and his cement cabals are doing same in cement. Or Nigerians will begin to call for importation by all .That he is creating employment and others is good.It equally should not be opportunity to grab our necks

You guys are not looking in the right direction at all !!! At this point your attention should be on the silent hero that no one is paying any attention to. ...the hero is FCMB !!!

FCMB is certainly going to end their 2026 year with a 224% YoY profit !! Does that not amaze you ? They made N73,000,000 Bn in 2024, made N177,000,000 Bn in 2025 (242% YoY) and now their revenue forecast shows N400,700,000 Bn (224% YoY) for 2026 !!! That is massive !!! And more too that the stock price is still at N11.90. It rose from 11.10 this week to 11.95 just because of this and I am sure it will finish next week at N15.00. I am really sure of that. I foresee it catching up with Fidelity at N20.00 before December 2026. I intend to add more units to what I already have on Monday, latest Tuesday. I have a feeling they will pay a dividend of not less that N5.00 this year.

For me, I am no longer looking in the direction of the FUGAZ. FCMB is now my own FUGAZ... LOL. If you have ears, hear ooo !!!!!!

If the IPO is oversubscribed, they might release more units instead of returning money so everyone gets alloted. 120 billion plus OS no be joke. Well except for buyers of so many billion units that want to take over the refinery. So i think for retail, their funds may not be returned. until we see the prospectus though.

I tried calculating 120 billion times 525 my phone calculator give me error😂😄

If it falls after IPO, I buy more. But I doubt if it will fall. Only 4billion shares on offer, with all the hype? Hmmm only time will tell
